This was planned for some time by the SEIU as part of a larger national event, their Showdown on K Street, which was shared with National Peoples Action and thousands of other activists from MoveOn.org and other left-wing groups.
Prior to the main event on K Street in Washington DC, SEIU and company made a little pit stop. According to Fortune magazine Washington editor Nina Easton, 14 busloads of riled up protesters unloaded on Baers private property and stormed up to his doorstep, while his teenage son was home alone. Easton is a neighbor of Baers and had called to check on her neighbors son when she heard and saw all the commotion outside. Easton writes,
Waving signs denouncing bank greed, hordes of invaders poured out of 14 school buses, up Baers steps, and onto his front porch. As bullhorns rattled with stories of debtor calls and foreclosed homes, Baers teenage son Jack alone in the house locked himself in the bathroom. When are they going to leave? Jack pleaded when I called to check on him.
Baer, on his way home from a Little League game, parked his car around the corner, called the police, and made a quick calculation to leave his younger son behind while he tried to rescue his increasingly distressed teen. He made his way through a din of barked demands and insults from the activists who proudly outed him, and slipped through his front door.
Excuse me, Baer told his accusers, I need to get into the house. I have a child who is alone in there and frightened.
Imagine what you would have done if your child were inside that house and that mob was on your front lawn as you tried to reach him.

SCOTUS in the Heller case said the DC gun ban was unconstitutional. So now the DC City Council is taking as long as it can to implement registration regulations.
Back in ‘68 a friend owned a liquor store in the worst affected corridor of DC during the riots following the King assassination. Said friend was a very serious hunter. He took his weapons to his store, sat behind the counter all weekend with his very obvious rifle aimed at the front door. Nary a scratch to his premises.
Headquartered in Chicago, NPA was founded by Austin neighborhood activist Gale Cincotta and professional organizer Shel Trapp in 1972 and was originally named “National Peoples Action on Housing.”
National Peoples Action exists as a network to create a society in which racial and economic justice are realized in all aspects of society, resulting in more equity in work, housing, health, education, finance, and other systems central to people’s well-being.
NPA’s big ideas based on NPA’s beliefs are those policies that NPA fights for as a network. NPA fights for policies that:
Take back our power to use the government as our tool to promote the common good, correct the injustices of the past, and redistribute resources equitably and sustainably.
Democratize the market to put people above profits.
Enforce fundamental human rights standards that prevent exploitation of people and the environment.
Take action to ensure racial, gender, economic, and immigrant justice in all social and economic systems

Look at these rotten thugs .. this is now
our government. How dare they !!!
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tsf-XsC18IQ&feature=player_embedded
Haven’t heard any updates .. did these
thugs get arrested or charged for this
despicable intrusion ?
NO! Not arrested and the police refused to escort Mr Baer into his house to collect his 14 year old son, because they said “it would incite the protestors”! Nina Easton lives next door or we wouldn’t know about it. She’s a Fox News contributor. LSM doesn’t cover these ‘events.’
I heard about Easton’s proximity .. the cops
did NOTHING ???!!
Glenn is telling the story now! Turn on the TV!
Man called the cops. Cops refused to come to his assistance. Claimed their presence would incite the crowd!
Just watching ... mylord, what’s this
world coming to? The cops couldn’t
call out the SWAT team? Sickening.
Here’s her article about it.
I hope to God he gets names and sues
their butts off.
This is what semi-auto rifles are for. But then again, DC likes to keep its streets safe for thugs.
Excerpt from article:
By now, youve probably seen the mob-scene that developed on the front lawn of the private residence of Greg Baer, deputy general counsel for corporate law at Bank of America.
DO NOT miss this 2 minute video of the "National People's Action"/SEIU thugs trespassing on Baer's front porch:

Unbelievable. These people are pure evil.
Thanks lowbridge for this thread and links.
I can't believe two truckloads of people (illegal or otherwise) just drove up and trespassed on your property like that. What state is this? Are you in a rural area?
Scary...
The page I just saw has a nice little activities calendar. I'm thinking we can rent 14 school busses, and fill half of them with Hells Angels and half of them with Outlaws, and just drop em all off at some SEIU event and watch the fireworks factory explode from the next town over.
Cops won't get involved because they my "incite" them.
Time to turn on the sprinkers.
Aren’t the banks and the SEIU the same as two crime families fighting over what remains of the middle class?
BoA made me take out a loan I couldn’t afford or didn’t understand. It’s not my fault.
“they should be put in prison for trespassing and harassment.”
The police REFUSED to intervene—how are you going to put them in jail?
