That adds more people to the base of the pyramid scheme, but what happens when those people would start collecting social security, would we then need twice as many new illegals, to pay their social security.

I know someone who predicted this four years ago during the housing boom. He said amnesty was all about getting them on the tax rolls in order to keep the S.S. Ponzi scheme going. Don’t know what the employment situation is for the illegals right now, but as usual, the gov’t is probably behind the times. More likely that they’d be a net cost. Some estimates are that they ALWAYS have been a net cost, but I’ll withhold that judgement.

If we had 50 million American born citizens who hadn’t been aborted, the ponzi scheme wouldn’t be sputtering out either...

If they paid into the Social Security system, it would help increase the worker-to-retiree ratio.

While at the same time adding 14 million to those lining up to collect a pay out.

And that doesn't include all the elderlies that will be brought in under the banner of "family reunification".

I agree with Crist in that we need population growth to sustain or finances, but how about an American baby boom and some LEGAL immigration from Russians, Greeks, Spanish, Italian, Irish, English, Cubans and Portugese who want to take their entreprenuerial shot at the American dream and not ILLEGAL drug pedaling terrorists from Latin America, Jamaica and Haiti. There are a whole lot of European, Asians, and Cubans that are unhappy with their socialist states that would love to come here, assimilate, and melt. We don’t need more flag burners.

Most of them would also qualify for the earned income tax credit and would only report enough earnings to qualify. They are used to cheating on their taxes and working for cash. Why would they suddently start paying more?

Who needs to keep a whole paycheck when you can apply for “services” and wire the rest back HOME where it buys more?

The need for amnesty is to bring in bodies to pay into Social Security to make up for the more than 70 million (reported, TOTAL=?) babies who have been aborted since 1970!

Crist is another useless pimp of the election industry!

Here’s a path for them. They can go home and apply through the normal process.

Yea, they take, we give.

How in heck do they help?

And tell us Charlie, how much illegal aliens have helped our hospitals and over-burdened school systems.

One wonders if Mister Crist is paying any attention at all to the primary developments (concerning Benedict Specter) in the great state of Pennsylvania.

Christ:

Please crawl back under the rock you came from & sit on top of the money you stole from Republican donors.

If you really want to fix Soc Sec- stop giving money to millions of those who claim “disabilities” & unable to work.

That has to a very lucrative area for fraud because those lawyer ads here in N Nevada are all over the TV screen.....

If the lawyers could not bamboozle Medicare for a “free chair” from The Scooter Store or get every deadbeat with a sore thumb on permanent SSI, these ads would stop.

It must be pretty easy- the TV ads are not cheap, and they are very plentiful.
