DES MOINES, Iowa (AP) -- Nine people have been indicted in federal court on charges they accessed President Barack Obama's student loan records while employed for a Department of Education contractor in Iowa.
The U.S. attorney's office says a grand jury returned the indictments Wednesday in U.S. District Court in Davenport.

Speaking of which, was anyone at DOD or Justice ever charged with a crime for illegally leaking Linda Tripp’s personal private information? I don’t recall any indictments in that case.

Better get those folks some good protection... Don’t know if witness protection would be adequate. I’d rather have privately hired bodyguards considering what has happened to others in investigations and court cases involving Obama...

“no more private companies with access to federal student loan info..”
I had not thought of that! That would be megalomaniac paranoia in the extreme, worthy of a Bond villain (movie, not book). Probably true, too!

I note there is no charge of conspiracy which I believe would have been brought if any of them had been working together or at the direction of others (say Hillary or McCain).
Do you really think Zero would bring charges on his Secretary of State's flunkies? That's not the Chicago way. He keeps it quiet and uses the leverage later.

Any lovely leaks? What foreign nationality did he use? Swedish? He looks Scandinavian to me.
Who paid for his loan? Brezhnev?
Who recommended him? Alinsky?
No leaks, eh? I guess if any of the Iowa 9 is accused of leaking info about 0bagger, it wouldn’t be one-year imprisonment and $100,000 fine; rather, mandatory flogging followed by public execution is minimum!
Does Iowa have the death penalty for agents of truth?

If by ‘indictment’ you mean bullet in the brain-—well, yes.
