Welcome to the Canteen, TigersEye...sorry about your snow, with more to come. We saw the last of ours, in the shady spots, leave us during the weekend. Can you see spring in the distance?Thanks for the welcome, Kathy. We have six inches now but no problem. This IS springtime in the Rockies. LOL A few days from now it won't be possible to find a patch of snow at this altitude. A bit higher is another matter.

Hmph...hand must have been a bit shaky while taking this picture. Anyway, one of our more senior managers decided that he wanted the fancy round table with the real nice cherry veneer that was in my office. In exchange, I got this 40-year-old school desk that's all scratched up and faded. After a little pondering, I decided that I'd just use it as a decoration piece for the office. I placed a bust of Teddy Roosevelt on it, a flag stand centerpiece from an old Memorial Day function, my company coffee cup, and a leather planner I received for being a 10-yr employee. Oh, and the wooden pen and pencil set.
So, today ends up being like any other day. I'm flaunting my flags!
Hey, my, do you recognize the coffee cup logo?
