Irvine business relocation specialist Joseph Vranich has added another 12 companies to his growing list of companies that are moving part or all of their operations out of California.
I first noted the list when it had 100 companies. Its now up to 129 names.
Its no mystery what causes companies to leave California: high taxes, undue regulation, workers comp costs, a legal environment stacked against businesses, and lengthy and costly construction permitting requirements, Vranich says

Sounds like your town is even more “progressive” than mine:)
The birthplace of the Aerospace industry was on Long Island, New York historically after Kitty Hawk, NC. In fact, Grumman was the largest employer on Long Island until the 1990’s when it was bought by Northrup and whisked out of here in the dark of the night to points south and west. Anything for a buck and a tax break. They could care less about the word “community”
Boy, you sure are right there. Twisted indeed..
I graduated from Indian River High and have fond memories of the area. You don’t want Californians to ruin it... and they will... just like a plague of locust.
What most don’t know about CA is that it’s about 45% conservative, to 55% liberal. They can outvote us every time, and they do. Hence, the mess. We don’t have a split college either, so we’re screwed in presidential elections too.
As for the horrible climate that drives businesses away, that’s a long-term plan, IMHO. CA had the 7th largest economy in the world when silicon valley was in it’s heyday. But to destroy America you have to first make her poor. CA was a good place to start.
I will see Sacremento starve to Death.
There is enough pleasure in that and if the ones on their rolls starve too...........
Comeupance was never going to be pleasant.
UPS’s teleservices is leaving Cali also. After being here for over 10 years and handling 90% of UPS’s tech support calls approx 300 of us are being laid off. A grim future here in California.

“California Democrats are busy turning the state into Kentucky.”
-
I’d take Kentucky over California any day of the week...
and we most certainly saw the Liberals immigrate to California didn’t we.
I remember since the 1950’s and the first television broadcasts of the Rose Parade the commentaries each New Years Day when the skies were blue, and the temperatures in the mornings were warm, and comfortable versus back East where it was snowing, and/or raining was “Uh oh, another gorgeous day in California, and all those watching in New York, and New Jersey will be moving out here”.
and all of those Liberals did move here.
Nice retort, but here’s the rub on that. Yes, Kentucky is a good state. I have no problem with that.
By lowering the discussion to that one aspect, means we simply overlook the state California is capable of being.
Six of seven short years ago, California would have been the fifth economic power on the face of planet earth. It is now eighth. It’s heading to being the 50th, unless we turn it around.
It’s a leftist hell hole that businesses are fleeing in mass. So just saying Kentucky is your preference, while it is an understandable comment, doesn’t highlight what the leftists have done to it.
You can have your Kentucky with my blessing, but just as I wish a little better existence for the back hill people of your state, you should wish that we get our state in order post haste.
This nation needs a strong vibrant, and reformed California.
Shane don’t need no proof reader.
Come back... Shane... Come back....
how many jobs does this represent?
how many are falling sucker to states like michegan or penn.
I'd be willing to bet you that most of those posting 'I hate Californians' here on this here thread have a liberal in their family who has moved out west.
Already pretty well done already with the nanny state laws.
> They wont though, theyll move to Colorado and take over the legislator there.
Oh yeah. Guaranteed.
A long time friend of mine moved his entire company from Paso Robles to Tennessee WITH all of his employees.
Politics as usual- neither hand knows what the other is doing.
They are all complaining because kids are so fat today & don’t get enough exercise...
Then they try to ban GATORADE!!!
Nuts—just NUTS.
Intel will never build another production facility in Calif. They may have their headquarters there- but NO production.
That is until the liberals/socialist/communist confiscate it. damn them all to hell...
Most of the companies here have their headquarters somewhere else anyway.
