You can speak more than one language —
to be cultured and cosmopolitan and still love America.
Maybe they just finished watching ‘Bob The Builder’ in class.
going on the defensive to avoid a law suit
Obama has been misrepresenting the AZ law and feeding into escalating emotions. His MSM is part of the administration, taking their cues from him (GE). He is to blame for some of this.
agree, need to set a precedent. This is crazy, public money, public schools in America
Too little, too late. I am sick and tired of Mexico and it’s people. They’re nothing but arrogant beggars. If they exerted half the energy into fixing the shithole of a nation they call “Mexico’’ as they do breaking into our country, they might not be needing to run away from it.
Anybody know if this racist VP was/is a member of Mecha?
Very similar background here. My grandparents on my mom’s side were from Mexico (legally), my mom and dad met in the Air Force (both were officers), and my mom thinks these people are nutz for protesting kids wearing US flags.
She’s been to Mexico and saw how some of our relatives live and she thanks God everyday her parents came to this country. If these people love Mexico so much, maybe they ought to look at the morning sun, turn right and start walking.
We need to get back to teaching real civics in the classrooms. Teaching the Constitution, and why people from all over want to be here and BE AMERICAN.
On special ethnic days everyone can spend a short amount of time learning about other people’s cultures, but most of the time in school should be spent in honoring the MELTING POT that we should once again become. All our outer differences do not matter.
We should all be brothers and sisters, grateful for OUR US of A, grateful for our Constitution and the freedoms we all share, no matter where we originally came from. We (citizens) are all together Americans. Those who are not citizens yet should want to be with us. Those who are not here legally should be SHAMED, not revered.
It is UNAMERICAN to coddle cheaters.
Your post would make a great tagline!
Your mother is right.
