Daryl Metcalfe is a superb legislator and an awesome speaker. I'm very impressed with this guy. Our own freshman legislator (Tim Krieger) isn't too shabby either.

About this time last year, Tim Krieger came door knocking in our neighborhood. After a few minutes of conversation and reading over his literature, I could tell he was the real deal. I told him I would vote for him come general election time, but it probably wouldn't do any good as our district was so heavilly Democrat that I planned to vote for the least objectionable Democrat in the primary.

He asked if I would take a lawn sign. I said "Sure, I've always has a soft spot for Don Quixotie." He told me he was going to win and I just gave him an incredulous look and said "Good Luck."

I still kid him that he rode in on Obama's coattails, because our area saw what an egotistic POS Obama really was in the primary. McCain Sarah Palin carried our county by 58%-- and Democrat registration outnumber Republicans by 2-1.

Somethings I just do not understand. The state strips all of the assets of drug dealers and users, but not criminal aliens and those that assist them. All legislation should include the confiscation of all ill gotten gains by criminal aliens. This would give police incentive to enforce the law, unburden the taxpayers from the enforcement of immigration laws, and send out a very strong message to those that assist or are in the country illegally.

Imagine how many lawyers would take up the cases if they do not get paid. Better yet, imagine the lawyers who may be on the receiving end of confiscation.

This bill has a good chance of passing the senate. It may pass the house. However, Ed Rendell will never EVER sign this bill. He will veto it on the spot. The senate might be able to pick up four to override the veto, however the house will need to pick up about 30 seats to get the veto. I don’t see it happening. Not this year. Maybe next year.

I wish I had someone like Metcalfe was my state rep. No, I have swamp thing Kula. The person who as a judge cost my mom from getting unemployment checks and let the person that attacked my brother go off free. Plus, she got a brand new car after she was elected and guess who payed for it. I did. I had to pay for her car and I am paying for her paycheck and that makes me sick. What has she done for my area? NOTHING. I am tired of politicians like her and sadly I live in a dodo area that voted her into office. Her yard sign says for the people, more like for herself.

I’m pretty sure PA’s law enforcement officers are already doing this. Every month I hear about troopers busting illegals on I-80. They pull ‘em over for traffic violations, find no ID, and arrest them.
