ANN ARBOR, Mich. President Barack Obama took aim Saturday at the angry rhetoric of those who denigrate government as "inherently bad" and said their off-base line of attack ignores the fact that in a democracy, "government is us."

"government is us." If government is us, then how can a health-care measure opposed by a vast majority of "us" pass the entire legislative process and be enacted into law against OUR will? How can policies that shame us before the international community be implemented regularly by the person elected to be our figurehead? How can the people we trust to protect us shirk their duty then imply that we are irresponsible or even racist for doing what they won't?
Save the rhetoric for your liberal audience, O. They're the only ones vapid enough to believe such utter hypocrisy.

Hey Obama, if you’re such a tough guy, why don’t you stand up like a man and admit, clearly and openly, your true agenda for the United States Constitution?
I’ll tell you why—cause you’re not a real man, and neither are any of your thug followers or your apologists on Fox news or CNN.

The words you posted are so refreshing and re-assuring in light of the fact that the current Commander in Theif want's our indoctrinated youth to believe that government is their friend!!!
Nothing could possibly be further from the truth!!!
Government boils down to nothing but pure force and I think it was George Washington that once said so!!!

Interesting parallels between Samuel Adams and today.
The british portrayed him as a potentially violent rabble rouser. After the Boston tea party the British papers wrote of his vicious attack on merchant ships despite the fact that no one was injured and the ships were undamaged.
Today we have the democrats warning that Limbaugh, Beck and others are inciting violence and the democrats are warning of the violence seething under the surface of the tea parties.

Remember when the left fought “the man”?

Government derives its just powers from the consent of the governed. This government just may be able to impose its edicts, but it lacks that consent.
