ANN ARBOR, Mich. President Barack Obama took aim Saturday at the angry rhetoric of those who denigrate government as "inherently bad" and said their off-base line of attack ignores the fact that in a democracy, "government is us."

of those who denigrate government as "inherently bad" and said their off-base line of attack ignores the fact that in a democracy, "government is us."...then added the unnecessary proviso, "except when a Republican is in office." Thanks pissant.
We need to stand up and say were Americans, and we have the right to debate and disagree with any administration.
Thanks Hillary...I'm following your advice.
In current context and that particular setting, “us” means the elites.
Remember this-communist takeovers have never had a majority support. They don't need one.
We've also clearly seen the dangers of too much government, like when government lending mandates nearly leads to the collapse of our entire economy.
This new tack is directly upon the orders from Ms. Pelousy who suggested all this anti gov stuff coming from him is hurting them.
ha ha ha ha
Right ZERO! The Obamacare Obamanation was really US! US said we didn’t want it! U & your minions shoved it thru by lie, cheat & bribe!! That is what US does NOT like! It is ALL about U & U!!
I liked the part where he stated that “the government” gave us something — BEFORE THE GOVERNMENT WAS EVEN FORMED (i.e. 1776). It was WE THE PEOPLE and THE FOUNDERS Founers, Mr. “Constitutional Professor”. Or was that Professor of Constitutional Organizing? Oh yea, it was Professor of Community Organizing. Oooops, no, it was Community Organizer Second Class. In any event, we thank you for your views, as ignorant, arrogant, naive, and foolish as they are. By the way, be sure to say hello to WE THE PEOPLE in November 2010 and 2012, when we kick you and your sorry ass cronies out of Washington.

It's not government that is inherently bad, but rather Obama's government.
Mr. President, meet Mr. President:

I feel like this bastard is talking down to me every single day. FUBO.
Isn’t that special?
The complaints were taken care of by the ‘progressives’. We couldn’t get a word in edgewise because of all the cowbell. We’ve been consistant, you haven’t been listening.
The 2006 election demonstrated our discontent with the Bush
Administration. We asked, “If the Republicans behave like Democrats, why do we need two parties?”
However, everyone should know the President proposes, the Congress disposes. POTUS only has the power of the Veto and Bully pulpit. President Bush was in no position to use either as the left & media sufficiently hamstrug him.
Funny, though that the left complained about the patriot act then, but now not a peep since it was passed without sunset provisions.
And how about the War funding that supposedly isn’t ‘off budget’? Nary a sound when Gates got a $33B supplemental recently.
Hypocrites all of them.
So is the practice of entering this country legally as immigrents have done for centuries, you Kenyan!!!
Direct aim? he is inciting violence!!!
“anti-government” “angry rhetoric”
The fraud in the WH is an arrogant little prick.
