Buy Arizona! America Supports AZ Immigration Law (Hey FReepers! We Can Do This!)
Unicoverage.net ^ | April 27, 2010 | A San Francisco-Area Conservative Gal

Posted on 04/28/2010 12:00:37 PM PDT by Mrs. Don-o

City of San Francisco officials and the liberalazzi brigade are loving up their new deck of race cards. They are marching and huffing in the media that the nation needs to boycott anything from and to the state of Arizona to show politically-correct displeasure with the new Arizona immigration law. [snip]

Nationwide, the Rasmussen Poll reports most Americans stand with the governor of Arizona and with the people of Arizona.

60% of those polled by Rasmussen are in favor of police being able to stop and verify immigration status.

In Arizona, Rasmussen finds 70% of Arizonans polled are in favor of the new law, and a whopping 83% say the immigration law will be a deciding factor in how they vote this fall.

[snip]

Arizona Chamber of Commerce Directory. Surely you can drill in here, find some businesses in Arizona and buy something from them online. Or better yet, call them to order, and tell them you are buying something today to show support for the state.

Sports columnist Dave Zirin says he won’t write anymore about the Arizona Diamondbacks baseball team until the law is changed. Here is Zirin’s email: dave@edgeofsports.com. Pfft!

Arizona Governor Jan Brewer has put a petition on her campaign website asking for all those who support her position on immigration to sign. Show Jan some love.

Visit her page, by the way, where Governor Brewer did away with political correctness in her state and brought back “Christmas trees” and “Hanukkah menorahs” in state displays to replace the “holiday trees” and “candlesticks.” I love this woman.

Here is the Arizona Diamondbacks’ website. Here’s their message board. Leave them a love-gram. Here’s the place to buy a team souvenir.

Wonderful, wonderful click-able, ping-able listing, Star-Traveler!

The illegal-o-philes are boycotting Arizona because Arizona has "da noive" to start enforcing the law against illegal immigration.

But guess what? The BUY-cott is growing fasted than the boycott!

Here's another great site where you can find delightful gifts, goods and services available by mail-order from Arizona companies.

My Sons are getting into kite flying. Any suggestions for kite-related businesses in Arizona that we can frequent? I’ve done some googling, but to know from some local FReepers would be better.

Very nice! I’m afraid I’m not buying much right now -— low checking account -— but I will keep you in mind, and pass this whole thread on to others. Thanks.

I’m a California native and I love my state (not my government) but from now on, I celebrate Arizona Admission Day - 14February1912. Start preparing now for their centennial celebration.

Email to Dave Zirin:

“As a women who does business in Arizona and with Arizona, I am saddened to see that you are on the wrong side of this issue.

Therefore, since you will not support Arizona in its attempt to clean up it’s cities and protect its citizens from persons in our country illegally, I must boycott your column, any product that is endorsed by you or by those connected with you.”

I’m willing to help too! I am home disabled and would love to be able to help with this. If anyone can think of anything I can do short of emailing, which I already do, let me know.

To: Still Thinking

While we are supporting Arizona and those who are behind them, a stiff campaign of emailing politicians who are coming out against this law and letting them know that we will be boycotting companies based in their states until they get on the right side of this is also in order.

I’m telling ya, nothing hurts worse than someone threatening your pocketbook. Make sure any way we can that their constituents know it too!

I am late with checking my pings, if you need information still let me know and I will check the phone book.

In Kingman, I can’t think of anything unusual, just the normal shopping scene.
