Love the ping picture. I think the effort to quit smoking (if there ever was one) is going to suffer a serious setback over the next few months.

This is a question that has been answered exhaustively,...but by no means satisfactorily.

Now, why would WH aides concern themselves about it at all?
It's not like it's going to affect their job security or anything. Right?

Just went to the DAR site and found the following:
“Any woman is eligible for membership who is no less than eighteen years of age and can prove lineal, blood line descent from an ancestor who aided in achieving American independence. She must provide documentation for each statement of birth, marriage, and death.”
I’m guess thing whole “blood line descent” makes us adoptees ineligible??? I guess I now know the reason the family historian refuses to name me correctly in our family tree (which is on file with the DAR) despite my insistence that she has my middle and first names backwards. Is this common practice? I do find it ironic that my sister — who found her birth mother, and found out her birth father was a Mexican citizen is listed correctly in the tree though. Very strange, IMHO.

Ummm... the hospital where I was born no longer exists. So, if I were a presidential candidate, they wouldnt be able to provide a birthcertificate. But unlike Obama, I'm sure you can attest to which hospital you were born.

I think that they subscribe to the Pee Wee Herman concept: Going through the cycle “AM TOO!, “ARE NOT!” a few thousand times is “exhaustively” answering.

I would think they would want any potential President to prove his eligibility. Wouldn’t they?

Its the question that may ultimately start the shooting war.Better to start early or at least be prepared in advance as a deterrent. And if the shooting is inevitable, the American patriot public will be better prepared before the Marxists really get control of every aspect of our lives.

Obviously claiming birth in Hawaii doesn’t mean very much as that state is so secretive of attestation.

IF the original birth certificate is uncovered at a later date after BO finishes his term and it shows that he is not a natural born citizen, would that invalidate his presidency and any bills that he signed into law? The Left has been preparing this for a long time. He will be termed their "fake, but accurate" President, as they'll claim he governed faithfully according to the Left's teleprompter script (Borg), not out of his unnaturally-born seff therefore his ineligibility should not matter, haha.
If Barry's ineligibility is ultimately "uncovered" a more immediate question will be what to do about the BATF tanks and Surgeon General's police surrounding the Supreme Court Building without needless bloodshed.

Exactly.
This bill will prevent such questions for future candidates.

Very true. The reason I went on a limb to suggest that scenario is because THEY have made noise about there being violence if there is an attempt to remove him. This is the issue that has THEM making those underground, rumbling threats of which we have heard.

I suspect it may say he is a gay, drugged up, Muslim, possibly exchange student. Me bad, I was referring to his missing school records. Maybe we could get an amendment including the school records.

I disagree with anything that makes us look less than bright..such as suggesting Obama is not an American citizen..and I disagree even more with the sudden popularity of snarky comments coming from our candidates and others..the snarky comments suggest our argument lacks credibility and depth. I do not know why all of a sudden this is so popular. Debate policy...debate the issues...leave the snarkiness behind.

Why would you put a burden like that on the hospital? They didn’t ask him to run for office. The burden should be on the one who is running.

I'm sorry. I'm afraid its by blood. The requirements state the following:
"Any woman is eligible for membership who is no less than eighteen years of age and can prove lineal, blood line descent from an ancestor who aided in achieving American independence. She must provide documentation for each statement of birth, marriage, and death."
When questions come up regarding can an adopted child join the following is the official response:
"Yes, but only through your birth parents' lineage, not that of your adopted family. All lineage for DAR membership must be bloodline descent."
Seems cruel to adoptees, I know. Maybe this should be a push to unseal those records???? Adoptees have the right to know their blood lineage!!!
