It looks like somebody is going to have to update the Waco Siege page on Wikipedia. Apparently the whitewashed history that former President Bill Clinton would like us to believe regarding the 1993 federal assault on the Branch Davidian compound in Waco, Texas, is missing important details regarding his own personal involvement.
In response to Bill Clintons highly publicized linking of the Tea Party movement to the 1995 Oklahoma City bombing in an op-ed piece for the New York Times, former Clinton adviser Dick Morris disclosed on Monday that it was Clinton himself, and not Attorney General Janet Reno, as Americans have been led to believe for the past 17 years, who called the shots during the 1993 botched invasion that led to the death of seventy-six people.

I wonder if he was aiming when he pulled a shot at Monica? I think he missed and hit a blue dress or something which later proved that he didn't have sex with that woman.
As far as stratecgic field operations go, Slick is one of the biggest idiots that every walked, and an example of what a liberal fscist is, above all he likes to work in the dark, like a little pervert stealing our freedom one fix at a time.Thats Slick for ya.
I think Slick should go bicycling in Branch Davidian country.
I wonder what Obama's WACO will be? Some dirt poor militiaman's farm in Michigan perhaps?
The two terms are mutually exclusive. I said in my very first post on this thread that the "raid" was terribly mishandled. But, the feds were ENTIRELY justified in executing a search warrant of the compound - a compound that the feds themselves believed to be holding an arsenal of weapons, including grenades.
I'll say it again only I'll type more slowly, perhaps that will help - when you repel federal agents serving a lawfully executed search warrant, violence is going to happen, every time.
Does that include the Federal Government?
Then neither should you.
If you have some friend who bugs you until you 'roll back' the odometer on a car he's trying to sell and he turns out to be an FBI agent, and he wants to roll you for information because he heard you knew someone who might be smuggling cars, then you should expect to find the U.S. Army surrounding your house, shooting anything that moves.
They would have already shot your dogs, if you had any. They also would start firing at you when you opened the door to accept the warrant (which they would get later), but what the hey, you did break the law, correct?
Start with Bill Clinton and Wesley Clark then throw in Hillary...Reno was a yes woman. Koresh was a nut and is to blame, except that IIRC the Feds could have grabbed him running on a dirt road on numerous mornings. Cut off the head and the snake will die.
Well, Clinton always wanted to be a war president. I guess even a Civil one would have sufficed him.
You are wrong, very wrong. The BATF went in guns ablazing with no provocation. No attempt was made to serve any sort of warrant. The BATF intended to murder, and murder they did, including the murder of at least three of their own agents.
You can watch this yourself by searching "Waco The Big Lie" parts 1 through 3.
The discussion here is what lead up to the search warrant. People are trying to tell you the resons for the warrant were bogus. They started the whole Ruby Ridge business by putting a federal agent at a meeting of a group that Weaver belonged to and then the agent tried to get Weaver to modify a gun for him. Weaver refused but that didn’t stop the feds. We are trying to tell you the feds create evidence when they can’t find any.
Remember when he broke his ankle?
It was at a drunken party in florida with hookers in attendance.
Yes, that's some super badass toughness. Unfortunately, when you're super badass tough, but super badass stupid, you wind up super badass shot to death - as four of the agents did that day.
It was an idiotic way to conduct a raid. The agents paid for their stupidity, and so did all those incinerated children.
But in your world, the government's right when they bring the violence, every time. A judge said so.
So you don’t see any difference between muslims and Christains?
I don't doubt that the least little bit.
It is very interesting but it needs paragraphs.
The POLICE have a policy that if a HIGH SPEED CHASE starts to endanger innocent motorists, the chase is called off.
The warrant was for arrest based on 'illegal shortening of a shotgun barrel'.
Was the CRIME enough to justify killing everyone?
Couldn't they just have backed off and waited to arrest Koresh when he next went to town?
Ruby Ridge happened under Bush, President 41, but the investigation was under Clinton and a demoncrat controlled House and Senate.
The only relationship between the two places is the premeditated criminal behavior of federal agents.
Why?
Oh yeah, I forgot about Ron Brown...well just stay away from Clintons!
No worries ...
