A former student has sued Brown University in federal court, saying university officials interfered with his efforts to clear his name after another student, the daughter of a prominent Brown alumnus and donor, accused him of rape.
After the student amended her complaint to include rape, Brown officials met with Mr. McCormick and presented him with a one-way ticket home to Wisconsin. According to the lawsuit, they denied his requests for a copy of the complaint against him and he was not given an opportunity to provide his version of events. He was told only that he faced a complaint of sexual misconduct, the lawsuit asserts.
No hearing; no discovery; no cross-examination; no due process. That Brown is a private college means nothing. Brown nonetheless discriminated against McCormick because he happened to have been born a man.

F the feminazis, no wait, they might like that.
Columbia does the same thing. Except you don’t even have the right to know who your accuser is. Great way to knock off the competition for Valedictorian.
Pure, unadulterated fascism.
Well he is a white man, right? He’s clearly guilty.
>> A case example of how feminism and its white knight defenders, social conservatives included, have turned elite Universities into hotbeds of anti-male hysteria.
You’re blaming social conservatives for feminism? I’m not sure I’ve seen many social conservative come to the defense of feminism.
SnakeDoc
These feminazi are enabled by social conservatives like Sam Brownback who colluded with feminist Senator Maria Cantwell to re-authorize VAWA, a blatantly unconstitutional power grab to emasculate men and broaden female supremacy in the private sphere.
There is no information in the article - nothing to talk about.
http://www.nytimes.com/2010/04/15/us/15student.html?pagewanted=1, is the story the article is based on.
No formal charges were filed with the DA. This was an internal charge within the University.
She said he did it is all they needed to hear.
He’s outta here.
If he were a Mooselip the Femihags would be carrying him on their shoulders and stoning the girl.
Pray for America
Social conservatives don’t necessarily defend political feminism in a direct way. What they do is often act in a manner that suggests that women are not to be treated equally, while yoking men to an unjust system because they believe in an antiquated vision of female virtue, one that is not only not true now but was probably never so.
Social conservatives often act in support of legislation that treats women by a different standard, granting them, in effect, privileges beyond a man and often accepting the orthodoxy of feminist social research when it comes to abuse, custody and family law, divorce law, etc. It is also a failure to recognize the sexual power and drive of women and thus looks at men as more culpable for any act that may cross some kind of line, be it moral or legal.
There are exceptions amongst SoCons but not nearly enough. If SoCons are intent on restoring traditional roles (most aren’t nearly as strong in their support of that as they think) then they must understand that a patriarchal system in the old style is the only way that will happen and enabling feminism at any level is a recipe for the kind of society divided against itself that we currently face. (BTW, I’m not SoCon and I believe in the legal equality of men and women, i just want to end chivalry as a concept by which we abide, as it is highly unlikely that we will be going back to arranged marriages, marrying off girls at 14, etc.)
I’d highly recommend Christina Hoff’s book, “The War Against Boys’’.
I don't know why males expose themselves to such risk now days.
Hollywood has taught girls to believe tall masculine men are evil.
why did he settle?.....
