Folks, recently some people associated with patriot groups have been involved with exposing the background of a Campaign for Liberty cabndidate, Adam Kokesh, for what we believe are to be serious character issues, specifically, his involvement with Anti-war activities and his participation in protests against America, his attempts to coerce American troops to desert their units in Ansbach, Germany in time of war.
Well, the campaign for Liberty is fighting back with threats of a lawsuit against certain individuals
That's also why I have to seriously question the sanity of anyone who would run around on these threads "warning" us all about some nefarious Kokesh-Paul alliance as if the impending election of either was going to single-handedly bring the next 9/11 to our doorstep, even as they turn a blind eye to far graver and more realistic threats to this country from the RINO wing of the Republican Party.
THUGS on the LEFT of us,
THUGS on the RIGHT of us,
THEY’RE ALL THUGS.
You mistake “stormfront’s tea party support” from OUR TEA PARTIES.
You see, Ron Paul has his own brand of Tea Parties and sends his people to crash ours, but he also holds his own.
ADAM KOKESH aka TRAITOR...
NOW you know.
ADAM KOKESH aka TRAITOR...
NOW you know.
TEA PARTIES ABSOLUTELY REJECT STORMFRONT, SAVE FOR THE RON PAUL TEA PARTIES. (DUH)
Giving aid and comfort the the enemy in a time of war is NOT free speech....it’s treason.
What the hell do you mean, “eject”? There aren’t ticket-takers. Anybody can go to a tea party, hang out and then talk about it on their website.
Or not show up at all but lie about attending and talk about it on their website.
Once again to the lurkers, these people are GOING OUT OF THEIR WAY to defend Kokesh. Not dismissing him, not shunting him to the side, defending him.
Oh, this is a good discussion for the Paultards: So which is it?
Rudy Guiliani is not a conservative but (a) he does not run down conservatives, he has his disagreements and (b) he's honest.
Which is something you can't say about Paul supporters.
To be fair...and it pains me...anybody can ask to pose for a picture at a public event.
Of course, a written denunciation from Paul and/or his organization of Don Black would be nice. I won’t hold my breath.
Wow, Ron Paul didn't run a background check on the Black's before he allowed them to take a snaphot with him? What a cad! ....eyeroll....
Sad thing is that you know that this photo is a misrepresentation of what it appears to be but you posted anyway just to make a point. So much for your integrity and credibility -- or lack of it.
Paul keeps donation from white supremacist
Dec . 19, 2007
WEST PALM BEACH, Fla. - Republican presidential hopeful Ron Paul has received a $500 campaign donation from a white supremacist, and the Texas congressman doesn’t plan to return it, an aide said Wednesday.
Don Black, of West Palm Beach, recently made the donation, according to campaign filings. He runs a Web site called Stormfront with the motto, “White Pride World Wide.” The site welcomes postings to the “Stormfront White Nationalist
Community.”
Paul spokesman Jesse Benton said. “Ron is going to take the money and try to spread the message of freedom.”
How would they know the donations were from members of Stormfront? I’m sure they don’t advertise their membership of the website (or the ideology) on their checks...
I think that free speech and liberty ends at outright slander and calumny against someone, Jim. If the guy served in Iraq, and people are running around posting phony evidence and saying that he never served, that's not free speech, that's an outright lie.
Apparently even FR didn't want any part of what this group getting sued was part of because the FR thread referred to in that article, has been pulled.
Just saw your posting, SCP. I think this comes down basically to this... FREEDOM. Freedom doesn’t just apply to those who we agree with. Freedom means the ability to be an idiot racist shunned by the public and individuals, but still allowed to exercise their Constitutional rights — such as supporting candidates of their choice, and voting.
I wouldn’t vote for Ron Paul - EXCEPT if I was a constituent in his Congressional Disctrict because I do believe he makes a pretty good statesmen despite some of my disagreements re: the anti-war rhetoric (a big mistake to take pages from the libs playbook because Paul’s stated problems with the wars do NOT line up with the reason most libs (socialists/fascists/communists) are against the war... On the financial front he is exceptional when it comes to pointing out the Unconstitutional actions of our government — he just doesn’t know how to take what he writes and present it well.
But, that is really neither here nor there. If we are to exist as a free nation we have to put up with idiots...
Perhaps Paul should have returned the donation with a statement against their Neo-Nazi beliefs, but then again perhaps Paul recognizes that these are people too, and they have a right to believe what they want — even if the majority of the world thinks they are idiots??? (I probably would have returned the money myself...) It’s uncomfortable to be sure, but I’d rather deal with Nazis in the open than deal with them “underground” because of some “purge” pushed forth by the government or the people. As long as they aren’t physically harming people they are free to believe and speak to what they believe...
I personally feel that’s the bottom line — Freedom of Beliefs, and Freedom of Expression, and the Civil Rights they possess to take part in our electoral system.
And who made you Tea Party Queen? By the time people like you get done with who does or doesn't belong at a Tea Party, you are going to be left with two blue-haired cat ladies with "Sarah is the Second Coming" posters at YOUR Tea Party.
I will feel free to comment on this thread when you tell exit82 what you think of the McCain bill, as sourced from the Web sites of the Library of Congress (thomas.loc.gov) and the United States Senate (mccain.senate.gov).
Tit for tat, Lakeshark.
THX THX
The problem with that, the PaulBots spam FR with their crap against Palin, and others.
All with the propaganda, bashing etc.
An all black or white mentality.
They can’t have it both ways.
