Tea Party Crash fizzles out
Politico.com ^ | 4-16-10 | Kenneth Vogel

After several days of hype and hand-wringing about liberal plans to infiltrate Thursday’s tea party rallies, the great 2010 Tax Day Tea Party Crash did not produce much of a bang in Washington.

To be sure, a handful of obvious crashers engaged in some mostly non-confrontational back-and-forth with tea party activists at a Thursday evening rally that drew thousands to Washington’s National Mall near the Washington Monument. And some less overt crashers subtly mocked activists from amidst their ranks at both the evening rally on the Mall and an earlier event at Freedom Plaza near the White House. And there could have been other infiltrators who evaded immediate detection.

But activists and organizers interviewed by POLITICO said the mischief was nowhere near as widespread or disruptive as they feared earlier in the week, when a wave of attention focused on a website called CrashtheTeaParty.org that encouraged liberals to pretend to be tea partiers, attend rallies and voice fringe sentiments to marginalize the movement (the website appears to have been stripped of most of its content Thursday).

“Liberals can’t do anything right.”

As my kid brother puts it, “Liberals could foul up a wet dream.”

I got to listen to Rush for a while today - a rare, but welcomed opportunity, and he had a cut on there with Bill Clinton wading into the fray trying to revise the Oklahoma bombings and tie it back to 'conservative terrorist"...saying that it "could happen" again by the TEA party movement.

Like Rush said, "We are living in their minds...RENT FREE."

The more they whine about it, the harder we should push.

From the article...
“Plenty of rally attendees weren’t amused. The protest club was repeatedly photographed (per Kibbe’s instructions), but also peppered with shouts including “Grow up” and “Get out of here.” And one man wearing an Albany Tea Party shirt and a long braided gray ponytail, who identified himself only as “Spider,” menacingly followed them through the crowd.

“I have a problem with you pretending to be one of us,” he told Bollerman’s crew, his voice quivering with anger, after they made a beeline for a cluster of police vehicles.

When Spider parted company with the infiltrators, Bollerman conceded he was frightened. “I’m still kind sweating and nervous,” he said.”

I was telling my hubby that the problem with these counter-protesters is that they believe the hype the MSM puts out about us (stupid hicks) while also knowing the truth that we are non-violent. However, when they get with us, the doubt sinks in. We MAY be as violent as the MSM makes us out to be.

I’m glad the little pansy was sweating.

The article sure spends alot of valuable real estate writing space on the Tea Party crashers . . . Is this so we can get to know them and their tactics, or is Politico giving them free publicity at the expense of the Tea Party? I mean, the article, I thought, was supposed to be about how the Tea Party gatherers handled the crashers, right? The article just looks like an excuse to write up on the crashers . . . .

I saw some liberal posting on Politico that essentially stated that the crashers fizzled out because it was deemed that the Tea Partiers are so funny, weird, and ignorant looking that the Tea Partiers would crash themselves and it would be shown to the world that Tea Partiers are idiots and non-newsworthy.

The funny thing is with that argument that it’s totally ingenuous and if it was true then the MSM wouldn’t have to cover the Tea Partiers in a back-door and obviously skewed manner.....not to mention the movement would be totally destroyed by now and NOT pickup steam and gaining traction.

WAIT a minute! The movement IS picking up steam and gaining traction and the lib-tards are being shoved further and further back into their little dirty dark holes (double entendre intended).

LOL!!

they cover more about the crashers than the Tea Parties....

sigh...

the story is not that millions across the nation gathered to protest the corruption and abuse of DC...the story is that the Socialist Libs aren’t doing enough to make MAIN STREAM AMERICANS look like the radical, racist, extremists they try to label us as.....

Freakin’ msm types would not be happy unless there was a gunfight or an explosion, no violence, no story, they’re nothing but ghouls.

“No infiltrators were visible at the Austin events. But at a rally in Georgetown, a group of six men and women holding provocative signs, one reading “Obama is a public masturbator!” were asked to leave.

To encourage them to leave, two rally participants held signs next to the group that said “provocateur” and “infiltrator” with arrows pointing to them. The group left after a few minutes.

Members of the group admitted they were not at the event to promote the tea party and were trying to counter racist and homophobic signs they said they had seen at tea party rallies around the country. No such signs were seen at Central Texas rallies.”

I’ve long detested Clinton. Yet one more reason to.

Its kinda hard to scream, swear and get in the faces of sweet, white-haired retirees who can’t really hear what you’re saying.

How many people ended up in DC.

How many were at all the tea parties nationwide?

I was at one in Orange County Ca that had around 1,000.

Do not think there is any way to find out but would be interesting.

The muslin terrorist Barry Hussein talked able it so we must be getting to it.

We had a peacefully Tea Party at Bluffton, SC. About 1800 people showed up. We only saw one "crasher" and the pic is above. But read the sign ... this caused more people to laugh at her than get upset ... one person even brought her a coke and offered her a chair. The most confrontational thing she said was "no thank you." Hell of fracas, huh?

I continue to hope, although the candle of hope grows dim, that the identity of McVeigh’s dark-haired, swarthy skinned accomplice will one day be revealed; the man seen with McV at the Ryder rental agency and again walking away from the bomb truck after they had parked it beneath the Murrah building. The search for him was called off about two days after the event, and attention diverted by Clinton and Associates to “right wing militias,” inventing the myth of McV’s close association with same.

Yeah, my taxes are lower than under Bush - because my TAXABLE INCOME for 2009 was HALF what it was under Bush.
