I think he is going to run as an independent and throw it to a Democrat

Terrible shame.
It is clear now that Crist is leaving the GOP. He must be about to run as an Independent for the Senate seat.
Sad day, this was a great piece of legislation.

I guess he doesn’t like being governor any more....................he’s been everything else.........

I knew he’d cave. He stinks.
I figured he is so desperate for someone to like him that making the teachers’ union happy would get him some friends. No one else likes Crist.

I support some form of merit pay, but linking pay to student test scores isn’t always a good idea because it’s not always the teacher’s fault.
Still, the bill had some good things in it.

Well, this will give him support from the teachers union and other thugs in the state but may not do him much good with the rank and file Republicans.
This is exactly the kind of Republican that we, as a country, must get rid of. Marco Rubio will need all of our support and activism to defeat Crist and other Democrats in that beautiful state.

Hey how about pay for performance being applied to business as well as teachers. No profits cut pay for everyone in the firm.

The funny part is Crist is too stupid to realize the brain dead teachers union will still endorse the Democrat.

Crist can run as an Independent but that will get him about 8%. Meeks won’t gain by Crist running as an Indy because 66% of them will vote for Rubio. Charlie will only keep Rubio from doubling up Meeks.

I just called his office. Should have waited til I cooled off.
I do remember saying he should do us a favor and go ahead and quit and move to DC.
