Washington, D.C., April 13, 2010. Army doctor Lt. Col. Terrence Lakin yesterday met with his brigade commander, Col. Gordon R. Roberts, who proceeded to read LTC Lakin his Miranda rights, and who informed LTC Lakin he had the “right to remain silent” because LTC Lakin is about to be charged with serious crimes. Col. Roberts was at age 19 awarded the Congressional Medal of Honor, the only recipient of the nation’s highest honor currently on active duty in the Army.
LTC Lakin had previously been ordered in writing to report yesterday to Ft. Campbell, KY and then on to deploy for his second tour of duty in Afghanistan. Lakin refused to obey these orders and instead came to work yesterday morning at the Pentagon. Late yesterday afternoon he was confronted by his brigade commander.
Before the meeting was over, LTC Lakin’s Pentagon Access Pass had been revoked, and his laptop computer was set to be confiscated.
The message to LTC Lakin is clear; through official channels, he was informed yesterday that he will shortly be court-martialled for crimes (specifically, missing movement and conduct unbecoming an officer) that for others has led to lengthy imprisonment at hard labor.
Lakin has announced in a YouTube video that has now been viewed more than 110,000 times that he considers it his duty to refuse to obey orders that would be illegal if President Obama is ineligible to hold office.
Meanwhile, cries mount for proof of that eligibility, but nothing has been forthcoming. The Obama campaign at one point released a copy of computer-generated abstract of information purportedly in Hawaii's records system, but the source of this information is unclear and need not have been a birth certificate issued contemporaneously and signed by the doctor who attended the birth. Even the document released was only a copy, and the version printed in the Los Angeles Times on June 16, 2008 is on a form only in use since late 2001. Even as it is, the document contains a warning that it is merely “prima facie”--threshold, rebuttable and thus inconclusive --evidence of birth, and the copy the Times printed mysteriously has the certificate number blacked out, thereby rendering the document unusable according to language on the bottom.
Given the seriousness of the offenses with which LTC Lakin is about to be charged, the American Patriot Foundation today renewed its plea for donations to its legal defense fund for LTC Lakin. Details are available at APF's website, www.safeguardourconstitution.com
The President is the CiC. He authorizes the use of the military. If he is not legitimately the President, he cannot command them. In the oath, they have to swaear to obey the orders of the CiC. If he is not legitimately the President, they cannot in good faith swear to follow his orders as they also swear to uphold the Constitution.
The first oath was voted on 14 June 1775 as part of the act creating the Continental Army. So is the oath meaningless?

This rapid action revision, dated 30 November 2009—
o Provides policy guidance for the legality of the Family Care Plan (para 5-5).
o Establishes policy on unit memorial ceremonies and services (para 5-14).
o Establishes DA Form 7666 for parental consent.
o Establishes DA Form 7667 for Family care plan preliminary screening.
o Makes additional rapid action revision changes (chaps 2 and 5).
2–2. Open door policies - Commanders will establish an open door policy within their commands. Soldiers are responsible to ensure that the commander is made aware of problems that affect discipline, morale, and mission effectiveness; and an open door policy allows members of the command to present facts, concerns, and problems of a personal or professional nature or other issues that the Soldier has been unable to resolve. The timing, conduct, and specific procedures of the open door policy are determined by the commander. He or she is responsible for ensuring that Soldiers are aware of the command’s open door policy.
I remember reading about this from Ltc Lakin - that he went through this policy and was rebuffed and received no satisfaction through the open door policy and was left with no choice but to take the actions he did.
Doubt and concerns about the legitimacy of a CIC needs to be resolved immediately. To NOT resolve these concerns cannot help but lead to discipline problems, morale problems, and a decay of general mission effectiveness. The Joint Chiefs should be ashamed of themselves that they have not sought to resolve this issue THEMSELVES by demanding Obama prove his eligibility. They could do it within the hour. Why this contentious issue continues to fester and grow and continue to be ignored by the 'chain of command' is beyond me. This is dividing the country and this WILL lead to a civil war if its not resolved! Shame on them!!

1 - For a troll, I sure have been here a long time.
2 - “the more he uses the courts to dismiss cases without ever hearing the merits”...the problem you have is that your arguments don’t HAVE legal merit, so they get dismissed.
When you go to court and argue he wasn’t born in the US, and offer no proof but ask the courts to find it for you, it gets tossed - as it should.
When Lakin gets to court, he’ll be told that he cannot use the courts as a detective agency, and that Obama isn’t on trial - which is correct - and HE’LL get his butt handed to him.
3 - This country is no where close to a genuine civil war. Nor have our elections been stopped or overcome. Ever heard of Scott Brown? McCain is getting a serious challenge in his primary...the ballot still works. The courts do not - not as a detective agency for folks without evidence.
4 - 50 states, the Electoral College, Congress and the US Supreme Court are content that Obama is eligible. Until you absorb the fact that your legal reasoning is flawed, you will continue to be mad. And no, that doesn’t make you the ‘real patriots’ of this land.
I spent 25+ years in the military, frequently deployed. My last tour in a combat zone was Afghanistan in 2007 at Sharana and Jalalabad. My oldest daughter did a tour in Iraq (Marines), and her husband did 2 (Marines infantry, both at Fallujah). My son has done a tour in Iraq and has volunteered for a second (Army Guard).
I don’t need someone sitting at a computer lecturing me on ‘real patriots’.

It is a shame that you can’t read. I found the info using a search engine, and yes - it had more accurate info than the stuff you are spewing.
I was responding to a post that claimed Obama was automatically adopted when he went to Indonesia because that is how it works when the child is under 5. As the web site I linked to points out, it isn’t automatic, and Obama was 6.
It is sad that birthers are using FR to spread false information. And yet you STILL cannot figure out why you keep losing every time you set foot in a court of law...
Not birthers. Birthers don’t change - they just keep repeating the same false accusations, using the same false legal reasoning, and then keep wondering why they keep losing in court.
