Washington, D.C., April 13, 2010. Army doctor Lt. Col. Terrence Lakin yesterday met with his brigade commander, Col. Gordon R. Roberts, who proceeded to read LTC Lakin his Miranda rights, and who informed LTC Lakin he had the right to remain silent because LTC Lakin is about to be charged with serious crimes. Col. Roberts was at age 19 awarded the Congressional Medal of Honor, the only recipient of the nations highest honor currently on active duty in the Army.
LTC Lakin had previously been ordered in writing to report yesterday to Ft. Campbell, KY and then on to deploy for his second tour of duty in Afghanistan. Lakin refused to obey these orders and instead came to work yesterday morning at the Pentagon. Late yesterday afternoon he was confronted by his brigade commander.
Before the meeting was over, LTC Lakins Pentagon Access Pass had been revoked, and his laptop computer was set to be confiscated.
The message to LTC Lakin is clear; through official channels, he was informed yesterday that he will shortly be court-martialled for crimes (specifically, missing movement and conduct unbecoming an officer) that for others has led to lengthy imprisonment at hard labor.
Lakin has announced in a YouTube video that has now been viewed more than 110,000 times that he considers it his duty to refuse to obey orders that would be illegal if President Obama is ineligible to hold office.
Meanwhile, cries mount for proof of that eligibility, but nothing has been forthcoming. The Obama campaign at one point released a copy of computer-generated abstract of information purportedly in Hawaii's records system, but the source of this information is unclear and need not have been a birth certificate issued contemporaneously and signed by the doctor who attended the birth. Even the document released was only a copy, and the version printed in the Los Angeles Times on June 16, 2008 is on a form only in use since late 2001. Even as it is, the document contains a warning that it is merely prima facie--threshold, rebuttable and thus inconclusive --evidence of birth, and the copy the Times printed mysteriously has the certificate number blacked out, thereby rendering the document unusable according to language on the bottom.
Given the seriousness of the offenses with which LTC Lakin is about to be charged, the American Patriot Foundation today renewed its plea for donations to its legal defense fund for LTC Lakin. Details are available at APF's website, www.safeguardourconstitution.com
Is your ancestor the one that pulled off that deal for a few beads? :-}
Probably, lol. The story is he and his brothers owned it, leased it to the government for 99 years, and you have one guess the what the government’s response was long before the lease was up.
Wow, a relative of Francis Scott Key????? I’m impressed.
Went to the Smithsonian a few years ago when they had the flag on display. It was huge!!!!!!!!!! Absolutely brings tears to your eyes.
My family is less imposing than some but I’m proud of them. So far 3 Revolutionary War Patriots. 2 actual soldiers and one the father of a soldier recognized by DAR for his service. The father being the same man who signed the letter about the need for a 2nd Continental Congress. And an ancestor arriving on the Fortune in 1621.
I wasn’t sorry for them. They were fed a crock and gobbled it up.
Well, what’d they expect for a few beads? :-)
Yes, our respective ancestries are much to be proud of.
Its so sad some of our kids don’t appreciate what they’ve been left. Heck, many of our kids have been taught America is the source of all the world’s problem, not the true history of America’s exceptionalism and beacon of hope.
We’ve got to get our education system back!!!!!!!!!!!! I have 3 granddaughters. I do all this genealogy research because I consider it my personal mission in life that they know their true history, not the historical revisionism leftist version.
If all of us can get our kids back on track refuting the liberal lies of America’s history - we CAN get our country back!
If we can stir curiosity in the young.....
I forgot to mention, Francis Scott Key is also my ancestor which could account for one of his descendants, my mother’s cousin - Cole Porter!
(Hey, maybe my paperwork for the D.A.R. would go a long way towards getting the info you need??)
Absolutely right. The commies knew what they were doing when they began infesting the education field early on. It really pisses me off when I hear young people spouting the propaganda about evil America. I’ve got a copy of Gordon Sinclair’s “THE AMERICANS” from 1973 on my computer all ready to paste into an email or into a post. Sad how many times I’ve had to use it.
Where in Ohio? That’s where my roots are.
Her Gramps was born in Olivesburg Ohio, a city his grandfather built. But the family had moved to Toledo.
I have found that genealogy also helps with gathering info to combat the lies of the left. There was a book that came out, later discredited, that “Proved” ordinary Americans didn’t have their own guns 250 years ago. The problem was that I had just found 2 documents that listed men with guns and shot to fight Indians. LOL
Hey, cuz! Cole Porter - that’s cool!
I’m the family genealogist so had thought about the DAR and the Jamestowne Society (started that application) years ago but then dropped it since the family just rolls their eyes at it all. The kids can’t be bothered with it so maybe hopeful future grandkids might be interested. I helped the nieces get into the DRT (Texas) but they couldn’t care less just like conservativegramma said. Oh well, but thanks anyway.
Never heard of Olivesburg. I lived in Toledo for 3-4 years but born in NE Ohio in the Cleveland-Akron-Canton corridor.
One branch of my tree was from Chippewa, Wayne, Ohio. They were the ones with guns. LOL My great uncle settled in Cleveland. Don’t know why he left Toledo. (although I wouldn’t live in Toledo now!)
As my later post I corrected my self. BGill pointed it out, and he, and you, are quite correct.
Born 1961
Soetoro Divorce 1980 - 19 years old
Occidental College 1979-1981 - 20 years old
Columbia College (transfer in 1981) - 21 years old
Name changed in 1981 (illegally) at 21 years old.
He kept the name Barry Soetoro and his passport to his 21st birthday. And Indonesian law allows foreign travel for education to continue citizenship past the 5 year mark.
Coincidentally, Obama travelled back to Indonesia to visit his Mother and Sister, which reaffirmed his citizenship, prior to his visit to Pakistan with a valid passport (Presumably Indonesian)
IMO...it fits.
I too liked the “White Face”, I bet he is a cool guy. I just read about the guy trying to get the organizer to try to agree on shooting Obama, did you see that?
No, hadn’t seen that, thanks for the link. WOW.
He later allowed factcheck researchers to take and post on the interntet unredacted photos of the same document.
Hawaiian official have never verified this document to be genuine or accurate.
Of course not, because in order to do that they'd need to see the physical copy of it, which they don't have and I don't think Obama is going to bother sending it them just to satisfy people like you.
However, Hawaii has verified that their official vital records show he was born in Hawaii. That's good enough to prove birth in the state for virtually any purpose.
In fact, they have told us the opposite, by admitting the COLB is not sufficient to verify a claim of birth in Hawaii.
They have admitted no such thing.
No president up until Obama has had as many eligibility problems as Obama.
Any eligibility problems he might have exist only in the minds birthers and truthers.
No, it's based on the fact that he is listed as Barry Soetoro in a school record and listed as a child (not a stepchild) in the Soetoro divorce decree. There's no speculation involved at all.
None of which proves he was adopted.
