The cat found beaten and nailed to a utility pole in rural Henry County, Illinois has died, according to the Dana Miller Veterinary clinic, which was caring for the animal.
A spokesperson said the cat, nicknamed "Dutch" passed away last night.
Dutch was found nailed by one paw to the utility pole near Dutch Bottom road outside the town of Geneseo on Monday.

that’s just sick. I’m trying so hard to find some faith hope and humanity in this world, but I’m becoming more cynical by the minute.

When/if they find the evil basterd he/she should be nailed by his/her feet to the same pole.

The enormity of the cruelty prompted PETA (People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals) to issue a $2500 reward for information leading to the person or persons who tortured the cat. Sounds nice, but PETA probably would have not even tried to heal the cat, and certainly not give it to someone as a pet.

and how many Innocent children were killed before they saw daylight in the same town? I'm sorry, but given the background of children be murdered ‘BY Mother's Choice” daily, leaves me totally uninterested in the fate of cats.

People who do this kind of thing will do the same thing to other living creatures—like people. The lives of Cats and Dogs are of relatively little importance compared to human life, but weeding out those who kill and torture either one is the issue for civilized society.

not really - that doesn’t do anything to save those whom are being murdered - I’m trying to raise the issue of priority, given that children have souls, and cats do not!

Some people believe that animals have souls.
The soul is the source of life. How can a cat or other animal have life and consciousness without a soul?

Your “priority” would infantilishly let all manner of other crime go on as long as abortion still exists?

It can sometimes be hard, because psychopathic animal abusers hide beneath the cloak of sanity, and they would not start killing people until they're ready.
For instance, Dennis Lynn Rader, aka BTK (bind, torture and kill), tortured and killed dogs and cats in his youth. That did not stop him from killing 10 people in Wichita, KS, over a period of 17 years.

Must’ve used a nail gun. Or there were two of them. Imagine trying to hold a nail and at the same time position a cat’s paw up against a pole with one hand, while hammering the nail with the other. Cruel and unusual punishment is befitting the SOB that did it.
And, gee, I can say that whilst still being disgusted with the crimes of abortionists.
