We didn’t have power for three days, then when the power came back on, oddly enough, we had a bunch of pay channels LOL which we enjoyed for a few days before it was taken off. If that Northridge quake had happened during the day, more people would have died. The parking lot at CSUN collapsed, people could have died there, the parking lot at Kaiser Hospital here in West LA collapsed, during the day its packed, and the Northridge Fashion Center was heavily damaged, so as bad as it was, it could have been 10 times worse

I feel left out, last earthquake in Michigan was 1947.

I love the little cafe Square One, across the street on Fountain. But all sorts of strange folks live in the Mothership. You can’t miss it on Hollywood Blvd.

Water was splashing 2-3 ft high out of the swiming pool here in Temecula...and it was long lasting to. Same thing in West L.A. near Culver City: big waves coming out of the pool, and the sloshing kept going for at least 10 minutes after the very long, very rolling EQ.
