Why Obama is ineligible – regardless of his birthplace

The following discussion assumes President Obama was born in Hawaii and is a United States citizen.

The purpose of this article is to highlight judicial and historical evidence suggesting that a "natural born citizen" must be born in the United States to parents who are citizens. By that definition, Obama is not eligible to be president. Therefore, his presidency and official administrative acts remain subject to being rendered void by the Supreme Court.

This would only rule out King County in Washington under those two names. I’m assuming she was staying at Mercer Island or Seattle at the time she had or received the baby. The baby might still have been born elsewhere in the state or to another mother.

If Barack Obama was born in HI, and we have no credible evidence that he wasn't, then he's a citizen at birth - a "natural-born citizen". That is the law as it exists today in this country.

Incorrect - all people born in this country are citizens at birth. It just means that they have been a citizen from their moment of birth. However, there are two kinds of citizens at birth: 1. US Nationals and 2. Natural Born Citizens. Check out the United States Code, if you do not believe me.

Now, the Founding Fathers left an ambiguous phrase in the Constitution: "natural born citizen". Absent a constitutional amendment or a Supreme Court ruling stating EXACTLY what a "natural born citizen" is, when a Constitutional question arises - the answer must be looked for in the Founding Fathers' intent. NO MODERN DAY INTERPRETATION TAKES PRECEDENCE ...

As far as their intent, the Founding Fathers were EXPRESSLY worried that a foreign influence might gain the Presidency and be a detriment to our country. There are many writings to this effect, including John Jay's letter to George Washington. That is why they inserted the "natural born citizen" Clause into Article II, Section I.

Now, what did they mean by that phrase ? We had just fought a war with England and they DID NOT want a foreign entity to be the Executive. They ALSO knew that, through the British Nationality Act of 1730 [clarified by the British Nationality Act of 1772], England considered children born on foreign soil to fathers who were natural born subjects to be natural born themselves.

The Founding Fathers WERE NOT stupid. They wanted LOYALTY in the Executive Office - and KNEW that the possibility for DISLOYALTY existed if such a child gained the Presidency. Ergo, such a child WAS NOT a natural born citizen.

You're going to have to do a little better than "check out the US Code". 8 USC § 1401, is the relevant citizenship statute in the US Code. Do you see "natural-born" anywhere in there?

The two words "natural born" appear only once together in the US Code (16 USC § 159g - Acquisition of Lands), and it's used in the context of distinguishing a natural child from a step-child. But, as the crack constitutional scholar you purport to be, I guess you already knew that, right?

By they way, if you new ANYTHING about the US Code, you might be aware that just because you're a US National doesn't mean you're even a US citizen. (8 USC § 1408). People born in outlaying US possessions are nationals, but aren't citizens. How about that?

When I did a search for birth index at their site, it just turned up for the King County Archives. I didn’t pursue beyond that. There are several other counties and it wasn’t clear if there was a central office for all newer (post-1907) birth indices.

From the Susan Blake interview, Obama’s mama comes across as pretty much clueless. I’m not sure how she would have traveled with child and run around for two or three weeks and not be more capable. This is what makes me think the baby was adopted in Washington. Of course, there are no actual baby pictures anywhere to be found.

If she had just arrived from Kenya, she also migh have known little about caring for an infant. If it is true that he was born in Kenya (which I am inclined to think is the truth), she would have stayed at the hospital for some days - usually in the US at that time it was 5 days, who know what it was there - and then gotten a plane as fast as she could. Maybe others were taking care of the infant 0kaka until she left.

Excellent point I brought that up over a year ago. It just didn't make sense. She had to be shown by her high school friend( in a video) she didn't know how to change the baby! Something was real wrong there,and it didn't wash coming from Hawaii not knowing how to change babys diaper on a plane does not pass the smell test in so many ways.

I keep saying if we learn anything about zero's past some or much of it will be by accident like the baby thing.

Airplanes in those days were quite different. Stewardesses may well have helped her with the baby on the flight, if she came of Kenya. There has been speculation about a ship but I have no idea.

I think more and more stuff is going to come out - tons of people do know, it’s taken a huge effort involving dozens and dozens of people (with lower echelon assistants) to pull off this coup.
