I have no problem with her “reload” comment. I do have a problem with her comments supporting Juan’s amnesty program.

Palin expands her position on Illegal Immigration
Palin: we need to close the borders. They are called illegal aliens for a reason and if they are not going to follow the rules they should not be in our country.
Its pretty simple I ratched that one down to the simple answer because its an easier answer than some politicians want it to make it be. you close the borders.
You get more agressive about cracking down on the illegal aliens and we take it serious what our border patrol officers are trying to do
December 2009
Lars Larson radio talk show
LARS: The amnesty proposal that was defeated in Congress in your view, was that amnesty for illegals and would you back amnesty for a path to citizenship, as the current president calls it?
SARAH PALIN: No, Im not for amnesty. Lets ratchet this down quite simply to remember what were referring to. Illegal aliens are called illegal for a reason.
We need to secure our borders and I am not for amnesty. And there are humane ways to deal with the 11-13 million illegal aliens who are in our country right now, but if theyre not going to follow the rules, they need to get out.

I think Sarah could have repeated Ann Coulter’s statement that said to (paraphrasing) “do something mean to them and convert them to Christianity” applies to the US Democrats.

I'll believe it when she says, plain and simple, I do NOT support John McCain's ideas on immigration. But notice, even McCain CLAIMS to want to "close the borders." That's not really the issue. This issue that got everyone worked up (rightly so) was not the continued stream of those coming in, but the possibility of making CITIZENS out of those already here. Even Grahamesty claims he's for "closing the border."
Let's see Sarah step up and say what she'll do about the 12 million HERE.

San Diego - Tijuana, Mexico border crossing, largest and busiest in the world. I live 20 miles north of this and know the illegal situation first hand and one reason I support Sarah Palin

Hey, no question that is the first step. But you’re missing the point. Virtually everyone “says” they want to control the border. Where you can find out if they are serious is what will they do about the next step, which is amnesty to those here? THAT will determine the next election and all future “border control.” If you’re for amnesty in any way, forget your picture. It will only get worse.
