McCain and Palin: Reunited and Feeling Good ("I support his position on immigration")
Fox News ^ | 2010-03-27

Posted on 03/30/2010 8:46:15 AM PDT by rabscuttle385

(snip)

VAN SUSTEREN: Governor Palin, if you were vice president today, what would you be telling a President McCain about what to do about immigration, if anything?

PALIN: I support his position on immigration. It all comes down to securing the border. And he who has actually proposed some solutions, the Obama administration does not want to listen to Senator McCain or any other Republican, and that, of course, leads to a greater problem that we have in Washington, D.C. And it's that lack of the new administration's ability and enthusiasm for listening to those on the other side of the aisle who have some good solutions that they want considered.

Do you ever notice the way Michele Bachmann speaks, and the difference?

But if Sarah is not serious about running for political office, it's OK. People don't expect a showbiz person to be eloquent and clear, or even write.

Oh come on, I know you can provide examples of your inane statements.

And in sufficient numbers to convince everyone of your position, right?

This shouldn't be too difficult, after all, FreeRepublic has a wonderful search engine and every possible thing that Sarah has said has been either posted or linked to here on this side.

Please prove just about everyone else wrong by posting the myriad of examples that prove your point.

Oh hell don't be stingy onyx, let me say because she is fully supporting McCain AND his positions (more than only amnesty) I can no longer trust her.

First, her supporters hoped it would mean she would just say a few innocuous words of praise for him; then, they thought she would just mention him favorably on FOX now & then; now, she is going all out for him with pleasure, selling us out, ignoring conservatives and what is best for our country. She is just another pol.

Have at it, select what you want, it's fair game LOL

For starters just read her statements in rabs’ post. She could use some lessons, but if her agenda is more showbiz than government, what the hey.

Can you BELIEVE it...some are still making excuses for her!! Now, I’m absolutley convinced either two things are going on here...1) these excusers are Bushite/McCainite pro-amnesty themselves, or, 2) they are so far gone on Palin that she could come out in favor of same sex marriage or abortion...and they would STILL support her.

So prove your point.

Post HER statements concerning the issues that are not conservative outside of the Illegal Immigration issue.

If you are correct in your assesment there should be something definitive spoken by her that shows she has taken the wrong position on the issues.

Not some blanket statement that you are purposelly scewing to suit your purposes to claim she is some type of RINO.

Prove it!

I disagree with her support of McCain, and her statement about her support of his Immigration positions, however, prove it on any other issue.

She diverges from him on Global Warming, Limited Government, Drilling in the US, Cap and Trade, Abortion (McCain is somewhat soft on the issue), Gay Marriage (again McCain is somewhat soft on the issue), etc.

Come on, prove your point.

So like most PDS sufferers, you take one example, and then blow it completely out of proportion.

I've seen most of her interviews, and read most of her Face-book posts and they do not support you extremely unsupported viewpoint.

If you don’t see it, what’s th use? For example—

PALIN: I support his position on immigration. It all comes down to securing the border. And he who has actually proposed some solutions, the Obama administration does not want to listen to Senator McCain or any other Republican, and that, of course, leads to a greater problem that we have in Washington, D.C. And it’s that lack of the new administration’s ability and enthusiasm for listening to those on the other side of the aisle who have some good solutions that they want”—

this is actually one of her better ones

OK then call me simply in Palins court then....as she remains the voice and picture of all those who love Freedom in this country...from both sides of the aisle now.

Now you of course can choose any candidate you want to support...as all can....but Sarah Palin puts a face, a zeal, and an enormous degree of energy and whit in the face of those who oppose all that is good in this country... and for that I and others will support her efforts regardless of who is nominated...and that nomination will only increase her effectiveness on this country whether she sits in the Presidents seat or not....get use to her...she is not going away.

They don’t have to attack her...you and others like you are doing the democrates job for them... and they love you for it!

Nope, Palin Derangement Syndrome.

Sufferers display a severe irrational behavior when ever the subject of Governor Palin comes up, much like you.

From your previous post—”She diverges from him on Global Warming, Limited Government, Drilling in the US, Cap and Trade, Abortion (McCain is somewhat soft on the issue), Gay Marriage (again McCain is somewhat soft on the issue), etc.”

McCain has Sarah under his spell, or beholden to him. Suppose she decides she’d better agree with him, lightly, if he was to try to “reach out” to homosexuals and Global Warmers. After all, JD may well overtake him, and there are 5 months to go. Would you still zealously defend her, or would you say, that’s it, she’s no convservative and I’ve been suckered. ?

-—”I think this is gone way beyond PDS now”-—

Oh yeah, these folks - many of them supporters of kooks and 1%ers - have been waiting for this moment like a starving man waiting for food. They have been desperate for this moment, posting 11,000 build-up threads to the endorsement, 11,000 threads about the endorsement during the endorsement, and 11,000 threads about it after the endorsement.

To them, this is their moment - that moment they have been desperately waiting for to FINALLY take out Sarah Palin and present their 1%er to the Conservative masses as the “one true Conservative” for 2012. They are leaving no weapon loaded right now - they are firing guns, tanks, missiles, nukes, you name it just DESPERATE to land a hit on her. They are unloading constantly and endlessly like a comic book villain making their last stand.

This is D-Day for them. They will stop at nothing to take her out, and it has to be done now because the McCain endorsement is the one actual, factual thing they can actually point to that is genuinely a disagreeable act. Before this, they were so forlorn trying to find something, ANYTHING that they could attack her with.

Time after time they were shown to be liars, spinmeisters, and desperate trolls.

Today they think they've got her - they've FINALLY got her, and were hoping to do a victory dance on her grave - which is why they posted 33,000 combined threads on this same damned SINGLE ENDORSEMENT. But they overplayed their hand, and folks like you and me have seen them spew their venom before.

We know what they're up to, and it won't work. And their 1% candidate — they know is a worse candidate. That's why they need to take Sarah out NOW, before the McCain endorsement fades away. In their minds, they might never have a chance this good again.

These folks are demons, and we are exorcists. I don't care how that sounds to them; I stopped caring about offending them when I saw the depths to which they would stoop to smear Sarah Palin and lie about her. Truth, real ACTUAL truth means nothing to them, nor does context. When it comes to Sarah Palin, They flee from truth like a vampire from a crucifix.

So now we have two examples to support your assinine statement that she can't speak very well.

Wow!

That's really convincing.

Do I really have to put a sarcasm tag here?

What about all of her speeches to organizations on issues not related to Immigration?

What about all of her facebook posts that, as far as I can tell, are quite eloquent?

Do you think you might just have exaggerated a bit?

Come one, it takes a big Man/Lady to admit when they may have exaggerated or admit a mistake, it takes a small person who just keeps supporting a failed position.

-—”Come on, prove your point.”-—

Dammit, SoCon! Can’t you see that she only agrees with us on 99% of the issues?!?!?!

That 1% is a total deal-breaker! We need a REAL Conservative.......

LOL
