While I look to the clouds, just wondering if I might catch a glimpse of Christ's foot first before anyone else, I do not think He is coming real soon. There is much suffering and horror in terms of wars, general turbulence, earthquakes, destruction, vice, lust, sins, and more destruction.
There will be a time on earth where those that are alive will yearn to be dead (or have a wire come loose off their pacemaker; that was funny Elsie, I hope that was your intention!?) just to escape the darkness and despair.
I do not believe in the rapture as there were only two people who were ever born to this earth that did not sin (Mary and Jesus), so they were allowed to be "beamed up." The rest of us must shed our sinful outerings eventually entering the Kingdom of Heaven to reside with Christ forever. Everyone has different thoughts on the subject; but as long we love Jesus and are "ready," I think that's what's the most important, rapture or no rapture.

...that was funny Elsie, I hope that was your intention!I always try to be humourous if I can. Or snarky. Or just downright cantankerous.
There are WAY too many things that can bring us done; and besides - a merry heart doeth good like a medicine.

NOW you've done it!

There is NO evidence of this. Mary was as much born with sin as the rest of us.
Using the 'logic' of a PERFECT Saviour cannot be conceived in an IMPERFECT vessel is not Scriptural - only some 'tradition' that the Fathers thought up.

Couple of things...
1. Remember Enoch ???
2. Jesus is God...He came from Heaven...He returned...He didnt get “beamed up”...
3. Mary was a sinful human...she lived out her natural life and died...she will be in Heaven as one of us...
4. Yes the rapture...the catching away of the Bride of Christ (those who are still living) will happen...
5. That twinkling of an eye is coming up soon...you better get ready...
