Has anyone heard about FBI raids conducted last night in Michigan, Indiana and Ohio. Warrants are sealed so no public information is yet available. Rumor is the raids are related to last weeks DC anti health control rally.
I am thinking it’s a really good thing for those living far from the city....My family use to have a log cabin on top of a mountain in Eastern Pa. Rolling hills I should say....I miss it from time to time. Loved the sense of wilderness and away from the distractions.
I live around 400 miles from San Francisco one way, and about 300 miles from Portland. 35 miles from a town of 30,000. Even that’s too close.
I would go stark raving mad if I lived in a city. Or even a town of 30,000!
I think that the economic collapse that is underway will make city life absolutely horrendous. Places where large numbers of the population depend upon gov. for everything and have few personal resources or charater or sense of personal responsiblity are going to be Hell.
I live in a small city now....but it really doesn’t seem so after living in major cities. But even here I could go smaller and be fine with. Not far from Pittsburgh PA. And I rarely go there. If I want to go then I like to drive several miles thru the countryside and visit the little communities and sights along the way.
One thing I was told and found to be very true....Country people can move to a city and adapt, but when city people move to the country they can have difficulty adapting.
My dream place would be out in the hillsides of Italy...in an old small villa type home....or a log cabin in the country similar to what I knew.
