Snips: Talk of a "special relationship" between Britain and the United States should be dropped, a House of Commons committee said Sunday, adding the Iraq war carried important lessons for Anglo-US ties. The House of Commons Foreign Affairs Select Committee said Britain should be "more willing to say no" to the United States and warned that London will probably not be able to influence Washington as much in future.
It also noted that President Barack Obama's administration was taking a "more pragmatic tone" towards Britain than had been the case for some previous US administrations.

Now that’s priceless. Apparently, they are still charmed by the holey one. Just wait till he tosses them aside as he has done with Israel and eventually all of our friends and allies.

This is a sad state of affairs. What strikes me is how fast our traditional allies are deserting us now that Zero is in charge. It’s as if they have been waiting for decades to put the screw to the Americans and Obama has finally delivered their ability to do so without guilt or remorse. Obama’s arrogance,narcissism and hidden hatred of this country have delivered the ‘get out free cards’ and now we are truly isolated and alone in this world. And to top it all off,the enemies of our country...the ones that Obama courts with the enthusiasm of a smitten teenage girl, mock his efforts with destain.
Obama’s next plan to humiliate our country is sending our brave and cherished troops to march in Russia’s ‘Day Of Victory’ parade.
We are living in a nightmare!

You should be careful when reading stuff from the Brits. It could just as well be a finely tuned piece of sarcasm.

It is absolutely pathetic that any american jew, hell, that any jew, still supports obama.
Tell that to those in Hollywood and all along the East Coast from NY to Florida. They are enamored of the man who supports Palestine and won't even pose for a photo with an Israeli (shaking head and thinking of what my mom used to tell me years ago "they should have known better").
I can’t wait till Texas,Hawai and Alaska say they no longer wish to share in such a close relationship.
See now THIS I don’t understand. I thought the world would love us after Obama took office. Hmmm.
