Palin Wraps McCain in Tea Party Movement
FoxNation.com ^ | 3/27/2010 | N/A

Two years ago, John McCain transformed Sarah Palin overnight from an obscure first-term Alaska governor into a national celebrity when he picked her as his vice presidential running mate.

Now Palin is repaying the favor, putting her prestige on the line in an effort to help the four-term Arizona senator overcome his toughest re-election challenge ever.

The two campaigned together Friday for the first time since they lost the presidential race in 2008.

At the first of two rallies this weekend, Palin pumped up Tea Partiers, invoking the cause of the first Tea Party in 1773.

"Remember it was the Freedom Fighters and those who protested tyranny and big government," she said. "And that's what we're doing today."

"And when you think about that first Tea Party, shoot, some may claim that John was there, at the first Tea Party," she said with a laugh, poking fun at McCain's age. McCain, who is 73, grinned widely beside her.

I have over 40,000 posts here at Free Republic

40,000 posts with absolutely no substance. Your paulite ping-pals ping you whenever someone challenges their goofy statements, and then you come along with inane personal attacks and moronic statements like 'Palin is the enemy'.

Flame baiting on this forum will not buy anyone support. It only alienates the Forum as a whole. We are all guilty of it from time to time, but there are those here who do only that. Simply because they demand all others here, to agree with them or else.

You have just described rabscuttle385. He posts thread after thread bashing Palin. One of his lastest comments had to be deleted by the mods because he wrote, "FUSP". He is the master of flame baiting.

Another poster wrote that Sarah should just pick up the money off the dresser (that supposedly McCain left).

Sarah's haters are the worst offenders of flame baiting.

Nicely put. Now it’s time for a FR to start a draft DeMint movement. I have sent two emails to his office encouraging him. No responses, which is a good sign because he is not saying no yet.

The only hypocrites on this forum are SJB, you, and the other Palin bashers.

Oh let us bow before you, oh holy one. Blameless and without sin are you.

If judgment is to be had, it will ultimately come down on y'all for some of the things that have been said and are being said on this forum lately.

Spoken like a true Pharisee. Move over God, Virginia is ready to step in for You.

Not defending Rabscuttle, but anyone who hates McCain as badly as he did, can’t be too bad in my book. Versus Sarah who was all lovey dovey with McAmensty this weekend.

"That crowd was there to hear Sarah, make no mistake about it!

" Spot on. Her speech at the Republican National Convention was the third-highest telecast ever in the history of Fox News, beating out McCain and Obama’s numbers. She can still draw them in. But her haters are not going to admit it.

You support people like Chuck Baldwin but not Paul? That doesn't make any sense.

You can keep making baseless claims all you want but is still won't divert attention from the fact Palin endorses a flaming socialist. Please provide any comments I made in support of Baldwin by conducting a search with my user name in order to back up your claim.

Instead of namecalling, why don't you simply answer the question? It is a simple hypothetical. You pal psycho-freep was afraid to answer that question as well.

Name calling? Are you actually claiming McAmnesty is not a socialist? Your Sarahbot pals refuse to address Palin's association with a flaming socialist.

I agree fully! There is not room here for inflammatory rhetoric. This is a very sensitive issue that has everyone on this forum on edge.

But what is most important is that each show respect for our differences of opinion. For they are still just that; Opinions and nothing more.

But it is also just as bad for an inflammatory response to be returned with another. Here again, we are all guilty of it from time to time, but there needs to be better personal restraint from most all of us.

Oh No, you can’t do that. Why don’t you know DeMint endorsed Romney? Using your logic DeMint must be a RINO too.

I agree, the jury is still out on what recently happened. Especially if Amnesty gets passed in the next session and McAmnesty, Collins, Snowe and Graham all vote the way I think they will; In support of it.

Palin will forever be labeled as his kind of candidate because she went so far out on a limb and to such great lengths to show her support for him.

Spot on. Her speech at the Republican National Convention was the third-highest telecast ever in the history of Fox News, beating out McCain and Obama’s numbers.

And 14,000,000 people listen to Rush every week. Does ratings or crowds make someone him presidental? I didn't think so.

No, I've only read 39,999 of his posts, so you may have a point. I'm going to read the one I haven't read yet, post 581 on this thread, right now. Maybe it will have some substance instead of the usual inane personal attacks and moronic statements. Here I go, I'm opening a different tab to go read it....Ok, I've read it, and it is him calling someone a coward. Shucks, I was hoping it had substance.

Rubio or Cantor would be far better choices. Take a closer look at them and you might see what I mean.

Please provide any comments I made in support of Baldwin

Well, who did you vote for in '08? I thought you voted for Baldwin, Barr, Paul, or one of those other kooks. I'm too lazy to go through your posting history, so spit it out.

Are you actually claiming...

These straw man arguments don't mean anything to me. I'm interested in hearing your answer to my simple hypothetical. If you had to choose either Palin or Obama in '12, which one would you choose? Why are you people so afraid to answer such a simple question?
