Even after the main vote on the Democrats' health bill Sunday night, tempers continued to flare in the House.
Following the vote on the massive health bill, Republicans challenged the Democratic bill's language barring federal funding of abortions, saying it was weak and would effectively allow public funding for abortions.
Rep. Bart Stupak of Michigan, who had fought for tough language barring federal subsidies for abortion coverage, denounced the Republican move, saying it was nothing more than an attempt to deny 32 million Americans health care. From the Republican side a voice shouted, "Baby killer!"
It was not immediately clear who had called out the epithet.
Rep. John Campbell (R-Calif.), said it wasn't him.
"I don't think its appropriate at all," he told Politico. "The people who know won't give it up," Campbell said. "I'm not casting dispersions on that state" in a reference to lawmakers from Texas.
Republican Rep. Joe Barton of Texas said he heard the scream but wouldn't say who was responsible.
"I can make a guess," Barton told reporters.
Fox News is searching for the source of the remark.

He doesn’t have one, he gave it up in his deal with the devil.
Being nice to these people gets you nowhere! They don’t hold back so why should we.
The tarring and feathering should start with Nancy! I want to be there when that happens. I hope it’s televised!!!!!
I absolutely love your tagline!!!!

STUPAK ANNOUNCES $726,409 FOR AIRPORTS IN
ALPENA, DELTA AND CHIPPEWA COUNTIES
WASHINGTON, DC U.S. Congressman Bart Stupak (D-Menominee) announced three airports in northern Michigan have received grants totaling $726,409 for airport maintenance and improvements. The funding was provided by the U.S. Department of Transportation Federal Aviation Administration.
This federal funding will help these airports better provide critical services to communities in northern Michigan, Stupak said. I am pleased the FAA has made this investment in our local airports and the individuals and businesses they serve.
Alpena County Regional Airport received a grant of $85,500 to acquire friction measuring equipment, specifically a decelermeter and tow vehicle, to replace equipment that has worn out.
Delta County Airport in Escanaba received a grant of $179,209 to install a 10 foot perimeter fence to enhance security and prevent wildlife from entering the airport.
The Chippewa County International Airport near Sault Ste. Marie received a grant of $461,700 to install lighted signs on Runway 16/34 and make repairs to the pavement to meet marking requirements and maintain structural integrity

Now speaking the truth has become a crime.
If you saw the video of Stupak from last year stating that if he couldn’t get pro life included in the bill he would vote for the bill anyway.
The Lord will be judging him eventually. And that nearly a millions dollar for an airport in his district???????? Trading babies’ lives for dollars. It’s the dem way.
Well they did fact check SNL last year.
Maybe his email and voicemail should be bombarded with “I said it!” messages.
Baby killers do repent. But once they see the light and understand what they did, they will always stand for life from that point on.
It appears that Stupak was just paying lip service to opposing abortion in order to get elected. Those kind always sell out in the end.
okay....................
I am Spartacus.
And it’s less than a million dollars
He really is a dimwit
I just donated!
I hope he whips hiss butt and good!!!
I hope Stupak gets excommunicated and burns in hell!
I’m convinced the Catholic Bishops were in the tank as badly as he was. Not a peep out of my church before yesterday’s bulletin, and by that time they were getting ready to vote.
“And its less than a million dollars
He really is a dimwit”
Stupak Takes His 30 Pieces of Silver In Airport Grants
Instapundit: Three quarters of million bucks for three, count ‘em, three airports in Stupak’s district.
Obama considers Stupak as nothing more than a cheap date.
I’d like to see the Pope excommunicate these evil demonrats who voted for this bill.

large or petty,
never give in
except to convictions of honour and good sense.

never yield to the apparently overwhelming might of the enemy.
