Syndicated columnist Charles Krauthammer gave a very ominous prognosis of health care in the United States, assuming House Democrats have finally mustered up votes to pass particular legislation.

On a special broadcast of the Fox News Channel's "Special Report with Bret Baier" on March 21, Krauthammer announced upon passage of health care reform legislation in the House of Representatives, we will have a different country and on the road to nationalized health care.

"Krauthammer announced upon passage of health care reform legislation in the House of Representatives, we will have a different country and on the road to nationalized health care."

Duh. That was the plan all along. Kill the insurance companies with required pre-existing conditions and then institute Universal health care.

Gotta love their long-term goals.

IMO, Krauthammer’s been pretty spot on with Obama.

There are certainly a lot of “journalists” who deserve to be shunned but to me, Krauthammer isn’t one of them.

This is the same guy who was swept up by Obama’s rhetoric inside the beltway elitist who said Palin was too rough around the edges and how polished Obama was when he had not run anything in his life and now he is running us into the ground.

Charles we tried telling elites on our side that he wouldnt rule from the middle h is a radical you didnt listen now you write these stories as if we didnt know?

Move aside and let the American people fight this battle maybe you can rank us on how polished and how effective we are without a tele prompter.

I hope your joking Charles was the first one swept up in the ONE’s delivery and form and the first to trash Palin as un prepared as the snobs in the beltway portray her.

Charles thought O would rule from the middle so much for that. NOw he comes out after the bill is past and say we will never be the same?

Sorry I dont need a Washington snob telling me something I knew before he was elected if he was our next pres he would take a wrecking ball to our society.

Charles is late to the party and is telling the Amrican people what they knew over 18 months before Charles did that this man is a radical ideologue.

Thanks for the heads up ...

Hey, I didn't get much sleep and I haven't had my caffeine yet. I was researching through old LIFEs and they noted that sometime the GOP got enough control to kill the New Deal. If it happened once, it can happen twice.

Obama can have the bill, but if a GOP House refuses to vote it any money, it's useless.

Where did you get this idea? Krauthammer has been saying from day one that Obama’s ‘charms’ were useless on him. He always opposed Obama’s policies...but he showed adversarial enthusiasm for his political skill and his Machiavellian manipulation of the press and the political climate. It's an important distinction. Krauthammer has been a constant thorn in Obama’s side.

JANUARY 2007 : (DEMOCRAT REPRESENTATIVE PELOSI EXEMPTS HE HUSBANDS “BUSINESS INTERESTS” FROM MINIMUM WAGE HIKE) To call Washington D. C. a Den of Thieves would be the understatement of the Millennium. Please allow me to familiarize you good people with the slimy denizens of D.C., and some of their nest feathering practices while sticking it to us big time. ...
We will start with Pelosi, whose husband owns $17 million worth of stock of StarKist Tuna, which is owned by Del Monte Foods who is a big contributor to Pelosi.
Starkist is the major employer in American Samoa, employing 75% of the Samoan work force.
In January 2007 when the minimum wage was increased from $5.15 to $7.25 Ms. Pelosi had American Samoa exempted from the increase so Del Monte would not have to pay the higher wage. This would make Del Monte products less expensive than that of its competitors.
Pelosi added a $33 million dollar earmark for an economic development credit in American Samoa, and she called the Bush administration CORRUPT? ——The slime pit known as Washington D.C. ,” CFP ^ | January 1, 2010 | Aaron Cantor

sometime the GOP got enough control to kill the New Deal.

Actually, after FDR died, in the election of 1946, the GOP took control of both houses of congress for two years, but very little new deal legislation was repealed. When Ike was elected they also got control for two years, by a small margin, and there was no rollback of new deal legislation. The next time the GOP had control of both houses and the presidency was in 2002, except for 4 1/2 months in 2001.

I agree with your positions, but not your example.

I would remind her that nothing contained in the bill will lower her premium. However, also remind her that she will now be forced to purchase insurance or face a fine and/or jail.

This is the one thing about this that bothers me so much, the media did a horrible job explaining that this does NOT reduce premiums.

Wow! That's my kind of woman! LOL Seriously, though: my wife was never a political junkie, either, nor was she ever happy about any firearms in the house. That was before The Occupation. Now I keep the Colt in the cedar chest at the foot of the bed, a Tula Jackhammer right in the front of the bedroom closet for quick access, and she knows how to load them. When a box marked 'Cartridges, Small Arms' shows up, she just puts it with the rest of the ammo and sends me a text to let me know it arrived. As long as the grandson can't get to anything, she accepts things for what they are, and why.

Funny how Obama has woken so many people up from their terminal slumber, isn't it?

I sometimes tell my wife that maybe it's better that she's not as fully informed on things as I am. If she were, she probably would have already moved us into an underground bunker somewhere .. LOL

Just remember the 'Terminator' movies - my wife has been slowly morphing from Sarah 'The Wallflower Waitress' Connor to Sarah 'I'll Blow Your Boys Off And Plug The Hole With Your Itty Bitty Pee-Wiener' Connor. I can seriously see her racking a shell into a 12 gauge pump, one-handed. LMAO

Can you post the top half of your post (on ObamaCare) here. That is excellent, and I had not seen it before.

“You think Krauthammer is a leftist? ROFLMAO!”

Krauthammer was a Mondale speechwriter, trying to help Mondale defeat Reagan. The jokes on you dimwits who have no idea of his past.
