That is such BS by Stupak capitulating to the pressure. Let me ask you guys this. If Obama is (and he will be) a one term president, the next president can recend that order, right? If Obama signs the damned thing, and that is a BIG IF, then the first liberal Federal Judge who gets an opportunity to address the EO will rule it unconstitutional. And I would agree with them.
While I am firmly convinced that the law is unconstitutional, it is equally unconstitutional for a President to sign a bill and then issue an executive order nullifying certain provisions in the bill. The Supreme Court has already ruled that a line item veto is unconstitutional. The EO would be an unconstitutional line item veto.

How did we get McCain as our candidate? We got him because all the way down at the committee level, both political parties are corrupt to the core. I was involved for ten years before I quit in disgust. I've thought about getting involved again but when I try to get others to come along, they are all too busy to get involved. After all, God forbid, they lose a days wages for the government to steal, or miss a kid's soccer game. It's all coming down now and millions of hard working uninformed will be so confused when the finally figure it out.

The talking point coming from Stupak and other pro-life Dems will be that Obama’s Executive Order is proof that the President is not pro-abortion. Obama’s healthcare bill will reduce the abortion rate in the next few years, while abortions rose under Reagan and Dubya. Watch for that talking point.

The TEA PARTY crowd at the Capitol needs to change their chant to: “GOD IS WATCHING!!!”
no one who supports this bill believes in God. the state is their god. and oneday they'll be able to talk about that with stalin.

look. let’s call it what it is: you’re either pro-life or you’re pro-death. democrats are pro-death. here’s hoping they lead by example.

True, however in the Senate, we are going to be battling cap and tax, AND amnesty, and there are at least 2 that have to go for both reasons.

The Executive Order is meaningless because it cannot modify a law passed by Congress. That would amount to a line item veto which, coincidentally was ruled unconstitutional in a case brought by Pelosi.Yeah, but no Democrat would bring suit on this because of party discipline, and no Republican would because it would enrage pro-life voters. It's rather clever, because it won't be challenged, and it did provide cover for Stupak, who really wanted to vote with his party.

If Stupak wants to see if he’s getting lied to by Obamassiah, he should wait to cast his vote to see how the pro-abortion faction votes for the bill FIRST!!
If the pro-abort bunch votes YES, even after they know about Stupak and Obamassiah’s “deal” and he hasn’t even voted yet to tip the scales, HE’S BEEN HAD!!!!!!

I know what you mean, I tend to be more serious about this stuff than even my husband.
He has thrown up his arms and said they are all crooks and this country is doomed.
However, we plan to go to Searchlight, NV on the 27th to give our voices to the protest against Little Harry Reid.
I wish something could be done to defeat Nastynancy.

First, I seriously doubt most of those who voted for this lost their jobs. Sanchez? She's safe. Barrow? He's safe. There are a very few in true "swing" districts, but it's a pipe dream that because someone votes for abortion in America they are politically finished. We have a majority party in Congress who should demonstrate to you that it's not true.
Second, I predicted this would pass back in August. Honestly, I'm surprised it took this long.

Why can’t Stupak see that if the EO is suppose to keep the funding of abortions out of the health care bill, then why are the pro-abortionists so silent over it?!!
To: feedback doctor
Don’t they understand the POWER thy just handed to the white house?
That the WHITE HOUSE gets to DECIDE ABORTION???
If SCOTUS does not shoot this down, then there is no hope for a peaceful solution.

Except just as Rush predicted, this is the last you’ll hear of it from the media from now to election. It’s on to illegals and cap and tax.
