The Democrats just couldn’t WAIT to play the Race Card.
The only reason for this was to make it look like the Tea Partiers are racists.
Obama has funded ACORN again.
Thanks forthat, even if it is 30 years late.
Holy crap- are you watching this on FOX? People are going to start losing it- this is ugly- and going to become more so as time wears on...
She could have gone thru the tunnel. It was an “in your face” to opponents of her government takeover.
Thank you for that! I was afraid to trust in someone but will certainly support his efforts.
More from Ed Morrissey
Update, 1:16 pm ET: Suddenly, that banner has been removed from MS-NBCs website without any explanation and I still havent seen a written report anywhere about it. Hmmmm.
Update II: Politico reports that Stupak has flipped to yes, according to senior Democratic aides. Looks like the same sourcing that MS-NBC had.
Update III, 1:22 pm ET: CNN says hes still a No, but that may be older information. Still looking for any substantive reporting based on something other than the MS-NBC sourcing.
Update IV, 1:25 pm ET: The Hill reports this as coming solely from MS-NBC:
House Democratic leaders are struggling to gain the 216 votes they need to win a healthcare vote on Sunday.
House Democratic leaders struggling to gain the 216 votes they need to win a healthcare vote earned two more crucial supporters on Sunday.
Rep. Marcy Kaptur (D-Ohio) announced shed support the bill, saying she was convinced it would prevent federal funds from being used for abortion services.
Separately, MSNBC reported that Rep. Bart Stupak (D-Mich.) would vote for the bill.
I suspect that Stupak will eventually find an excuse to vote for the bill, probably by accepting the promise of an EO in some form. But he may not yet have done so. Well keep an eye on it.
Update V: CNN reports that Stupak told them directly that hes still a No.
More to come .
“Thanks for that...sadly, not mine but I can always move.”
I may be forced to also. This will exacerbate the demise of the blue states, as they won’t oppose the socialist monster and will further deteriorate into lack of productive activity and job losses, mounting deficits, et al.
The productive people will convene in the 38 remaining sane states for the final showdown - FREEDOM vs. tyranny.
I am not watching, just FrEEPING
I just got through to Stupak’s office.
Keep calling!!!
Stupak:DC Phone: (202) 225-4735 FAX: (202) 225-4744
Well they are ready for War -— the Fema Camps, Governors Council, etc. -— civil unrest has been anticipated. How far can we be pushed?
I ment No disrespect. Sorry for the typo.
From your lips to God's ears.
Very telling. On FNC now - reporter says he hasn't seen a single pro health care supporter in the last two days.
Chickens.
Those poor House Dems that had to walk through protest crowds at the Capitol. I feel so bad for them, NOT!
They can try, but as it was aptly put; "...Behind every blade of grass..".
That would be good - if true. I’ll only believe it if no vote is called, or if he votes ‘no.’ (in the latter case, they may pass it w/o him.)
I think that happened in Nov 08...
Note to all: NO MORE RINOS!!!!
Remember November!
Oh, I thought that was a pic of King Thug entering the House. FReeping, Lifetime and the rosary for me.
