Congress doesn’t send out the census; the Census Bureau is part of the Executive branch. Hence no franking privilege.
I didn't give out whether I had a mortgage or a paid off house. It's none of their business.
According to the Law, I just had to state how many people were living at my house.
Got mine, too.
Down where it asked “race”, I marked it “Other” and wrote in “American”, which is about as valid as any of the other categories they put on the sheet.
And it should trump anything else.
1) It's prepaid postage and I need to get rid of all thos ads I get in power and utility bills.
2) Any message I want to send the government I can. If I were to write something like F*** OBAMA on a piece of paper that is on top of the form, it may leave an easily read indentation on the form. Especially if I press REALLY hard when I write it.
3) This will give me a chance to "write like a doctor" when I fill in the names (1st names only) and ages. Of course I will neatly print AMERICAN in the other box for my race.
4) I will also include a photo from the http://www.handsofsarah.com website with a message yet to be chosen. But it will be good.
Any other creative ideas on how to use the census?
If so, post 'em!
If you live in:
Free states: fill in number of people, that’s it. No other info for the race-baiting, government preferences crowd to use.
Urban failures: trash the thing. They’re losing population but making up for it in vote fraud. The sooner they lose reps the better.
Why is the US census so much focussed on a single community, i.e. Hispanics?
It seems like state-mandated discrimination against the others, to me.
E Pluribus Unum, anyone?
For race I wrote in “Alien”
Just question one and back in the envelope...
We throw the word “race” around so much, nobody really knows what it means . . . unless they follow NASCAR.
Don’t know about the rest of you, but since I was born here I am a NATIVE AMERICAN!

First, I will send a letter to the Census Bureau to notify them that they will be receiving my census form in the near future. Two weeks later, I will send them in my census form. The only information it will have is the number of people living in this house. I haven’t decided yet whether to do it in crayon.
