Here’s my screed:

When this “health care for all” crap passes, right now the legislation states that it will be illegal to sell private policies over the date of passage. It also says that HSA’s will no longer be allowed. That means that my current policy will no longer be allowed and neither I nor my employer will be allowed to privately purchase an alternative.

I will not accept the “public option” that I will be dictated to join. I will not give the government control over my physical body. I will not pay their fines, I will not surrender to the impending warrant for my arrest. When they knock on my door, I will not answer. When they kick it in, I will make the news.

How’s that for unification, libtards? You loons are currently legislating my death. I will chose the terms and I will bring as many of you along as possible!

“But when a long train of abuses and usurpations, pursuing invariably the same Object evinces a design to reduce them under absolute Despotism, it is their right, it is their duty, to throw off such Government, and to provide new Guards for their future security”

I will not comply. If the government tries to make me comply, I’ll sue. And I’ll win.

I will applaud anyone who takes this stand. I will side with them in court. Sadly, though, I'm not so sure that a real American would win, even with such a strong case. The socialists will do their best to stack the deck, and as long as we play in their playground (the courts), they have the advantage.

This is another reason whatever deem-wit came up with this strategy needs to have their head examined.

Not only would it be a political disaster ... the Cornhusker Kickback times ten ... but it would destroy any remaining legitimacy Obamacare has after it is “passed.”

It would guarantee that far from the Democrats’ health care travails ending, they would just be starting.

Your precedent is United States vs Reynolds. The SCOTUS ruled that coercing a citizen to enter into a contract created a “wheel of servitude” which is banned under the 13th Amendment.

It is good to find patriots with some courage! This bill, tantamount to destroying America must not stand!

Thing is, unless you're actually willing & able to go without health insurance (some of us can't), your coverage will be manipulated into compliance. To stay in business, insurers will just comply, and won't give you an alternative.

This is the trick the Leftists have learned: don't control the population directly, control a politically disinterested intermediary instead - if they want to stay in business, they'll comply, and you'll whine and moan and comply by proxy.

It would also be nice if at least elected official, a Bachmann type, would come on the air and tell the American People not to comply.

It’s one thing for Americans to “disobey”

It’ll be a popcorn-worthy Constitutional Crisis if elected Republicans come to the floor and urge American citizens to RESIST.

Remember the words of Chairman Mao which have been adoringly quoted by this administration: “Political power grows from the barrels of guns”. They are already anticipating the use of force against the American public.

This is justification for nullifying the “contract” between the people, state and federal government.

I hereby withdraw my consent...

I can promise on my word of honor - I WILL NOT COMPLY!!!

I’ve never been in trouble in my life - I can even count my parking tickets in one hand but THERE IS NO WAY I’M GOING TO ADHERE WITH SOMETHING THAT’S NOT EVEN A LAW. The money is going to his pals in Zurich. THey didn’t get the money from openhagen so they think they’re going to get it from this unlawful mostrosity of a bill. THERE IS NO WAY MY MONEY IS GOING TO THOSE LUFICERIANS. They think we’re stupid!!! SCREW THEM!!!

An interesting approach. Just one small problem. Mr. Hood and his employees will not be able to obtain the policies they now have and cherish. If Obama's bill passes, they will not exist. I have a slightly different form of resistance in mind.

Defund government.

Government depends on taxes. Taxes are levied on income, sales revenue, gasoline, and real property. If Obamacare passes, particularly if it passes in an unconstitutional way, you can, in a perfectly legal way, reduce your tax payments, although some admittedly have a greater ability to do so than others.

I hereby pledge that if the bill passes, I will reduce my salary from my corporation to the greatest extent possible, thereby reducing my employer and employee witholding obligations to the greatest extent possible. I will maximize any tax deductible payments suchas HSA and pension contributions. I will also reduce my discretionary spending and gasoline usage as much as possible, thereby depriving both California and the federal government of sales and gasoline taxes.

If enough of us do this, the economy WILL double dip and the Democrats WILL lose Congress and the Presidency this year and in 2012.

Good luck. I think you're forgetting that it is the government that will rule on the merits of your suit. And they have the guns.

Resist is right! I, too, will not comply, and will sue if compelled to comply, including for damages under section 1983 for violation of my constitutional rights under color of law.

That is something that we all need to keep in mind if we choose to resist - for lack of proper constitutional procedure, this farce will be a legal nullity, and anyone who attempts to enforce it against an individual will be subject to liability under 42 U.S.C. 1983 for violating that individual's rights.

In fact, the first good case to obtain standing to sue should bring a class action under sectino 1983 with the class defined as every individual within the jurisidiction of the judicial or other legal process of the federal government of the United States of America. Essentially, a class covering about 300 million people. If nothing else, we can engage in some political ninjitsu and set one faction of the enemy - the trial lawyers - against the other factions of the enemy - the fascists who control Congress and the Whitehouse.

A bit melodramatic...well...more like over the top melodramatic. But the frustration voiced is understandable.

I won't comply. I won't buy gov insurance and I won't pay the fine. If abortion is funded in any way I won't pay federal taxes either. I will file as a conscientious objector.

Virginia isn't going to comply.
