No. An oligarchy is a sort of “shared dictatorship”. The “disinterested intermediary” I refer to is, on the whole, businesses who will comply with whatever is required to stay in business, else they just won’t be in business; the businessman may grumble but he’ll comply, and the would-be rebel will comply by proxy.

Point is I can’t just pull out of the system in protest. I may object in other ways, but not by dropping coverage.

Next time my 912 group meets, I am going to bring up this very point. If those of us want to take this route, how do we go about it.

Put another way, the only way to do “I won’t comply!” is to drop coverage. The insurance providers WILL comply, and your only option short of dropping coverage is to conform to a compliant plan.
I’m seeing a lot of “FMCDH!” type bluster above, but none indicate _how_ they “won’t comply”. When your cardiologist says “so ... you don’t have any other symptoms?” you’ll d@mn well better have either full coverage or a fat bank account - trust me on this one.

I think you're forgetting that it is the government that will rule on the merits of your suit. And they have the guns.

Now THAT is a response I can respect: recognition that there IS a problem more complicated than self-righteous bluster, and figure out how to deal with a very real and very complicated issue.
Keep me in the loop on that one.

If they’re not part of the ruling inner circle, then they’re not part of the oligarchy. Well-compensated slaves are still slaves.

Just as prohibition didn’t work, neither will this. Underground medicine will emerge.

Resist is right! I, too, will not comply, and will sue if compelled to comply, including for damages under section 1983 for violation of my constitutional rights under color of law.
That is something that we all need to keep in mind if we choose to resist - for lack of proper constitutional procedure, this farce will be a legal nullity, and anyone who attempts to enforce it against an individual will be subject to liability under 42 U.S.C. 1983 for violating that individual's rights.
In fact, the first good case to obtain standing to sue should bring a class action under sectino 1983 with the class defined as every individual within the jurisidiction of the judicial or other legal process of the federal government of the United States of America. Essentially, a class covering about 300 million people. If nothing else, we can engage in some political ninjitsu and set one faction of the enemy - the trial lawyers - against the other factions of the enemy - the fascists who control Congress and the Whitehouse.

You are right, and that’s why I’ve always said, that the patriots need to march on DC and take it back from the enemy, I’m convinced nothing else will work.

Um ... we do to. I'm counting on folks like you. What I'm wondering is why none of you have made your presence known as yet.

“They are already anticipating the use of force against the American public.”
Of course they are. I can’t believe that all of these people who “will not comply” don’t seem to consider that.
They want terrorists tried in the courts because this allows them to equate ANYONE who stands against them with Bin Laden et al. And they KNOW that people are going to defy them in the near future. They go to law enforcement because they KNOW law enforcement DOES NOT EVER QUESTION ORDERS.

You are saying this with respect to people who you SEE, NOW, THIS SECOND, dismissing Law and Reason AND THE CONSTITUTION ITSELF in pursuit of their (nefarious) ends. Good luck in court.

Well, see, that's another one of the fascists' little mistakes. They are so hot-to-trot to get their first real seizure of power under way, that they forgot to first (a) disarm the general populace, and (b) pack the courts with sympathizers.
It may be a bit of cold comfort if they manage to destroy the country first, but as part of an overall strategy to beat down Obastardcare and the fascists' naked attempt to illegally seize power in the US, it is another useful tool in the arsenal.

A bit melodramatic...well...more like over the top melodramatic. But the frustration voiced is understandable.
