WASHINGTON (Dow Jones)--House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D., Calif.) demurred Monday when asked about the process she would use to pass health-care legislation in the House, but expressed confidence that she would have the votes needed to pass the measure.

Pelosi said she would wait until she receives a final cost estimate on the legislation from the nonpartisan Congressional Budget Office and until the Senate Parliamentarian's office rules on the bill's contents, before she decides how the bill will be passed. Democrats are weighing a strategy that would allow them to pass a Senate version of health-care legislation at the same time it passes a package of changes to the bill.

"When we have some substance, we can get to the process," Pelosi said at a news conference.

hey nancy WHO WROTE THIS PIECE OF CRAP ANYWAY???

with 2000 pages we should be allowed to know SOME OF the people or groups consulted.

At least HilLIARy had her illegal health care task force (of lawyers) - we were not allowed to see or hear their meetings, but we knew who was there...

Not one word from the utterly evil Pelosi’s lips is honest.

Similar to Obama or PigBoy Gibbs.

That’s what I thought as well. She is simply holding her cards tight.

If she had the votes today, there would be a vote and she wouldn’t wait for one item!

“So Democrats just dusted that legislation off, and are using that as the vehicle to begin the reconciliation process. “ From American Spectator.

They’re using HR 3200?

If it doesn’t follow the process in Art. 1 Sec. 7 of the Consitution, it’s bogus, a fraud, and we won’t obey it.

I just listened to the Senate Press Conference of Thune, Demint, Coburn and Wicker. At the 13:34 mark, Dr Coburn dropped the bombshell that the will go straight to Court if the Democrats try reconciliation without it first being passed into law. All four are former House Members.

Pegrossi would resort to human sacrifice on the floor of the House if that’s what it takes to pass this POS.

Human sacrifice is already on the floor of the House—in the form of the ‘healthcare’ bill.

That’s part of their little game. It didn’t work last time and hope it won’t this time.

Someone should ask these Bozos why have they spent a year on this, and now must rush it through in less than a week?

“now must rush it through in less than a week?”

Of equal importance, since the main provisions don’t even kick in for several years, the “rush” is even more puzzling. The fact is a bipartisan plan such as Rep. Ryan’s could wait to be enacted next year and still be in place faster than this bureaucratic-heavy boondoggle.
