Neighbours said Mr Askew had been targeted before he was found dead at his home in Hattersley, Greater Manchester, last night. One neighbour said he had been ‘tormented to death - like bear baiting’. Residents criticised police and officials for not supporting Mr Askew and his brother Brian and mother Rose, who was wheelchair-bound. Officers were called to the address last night after being told yobs were causing an ‘annoyance’. When they arrived the youths had vanished but officers discovered Mr Askew collapsed in his back garden.

Mr Askew should have claimed to be gay or a muslim (or a gay muslim)....then the police, the Scotland Yard, and MI5 would have been all over it.
Sickening. Friggin cowards would probably crap their pants if they were picked on constantly like this poor guy was.
The cops just made sure the victim was unarmed and offered no resistance to the criminals.
Here in the states, “yob(s)” is an illegal alien receiving a paycheck. “Si, I have a yob”.
Unmentioned in the article is that local authorities have charged the deceased with obstruction of criminal activity. Next week, a civil ceremony honoring the yobs with a Diversity in Life Award will be scheduled.
