Mitt Romney's new book, "No Apology: The Case for American Greatness," will debut on top of the New York Times bestseller list due out March 21, a source tells me.
Romney's book tour has, so far, attracted pretty large crowds, serving -- along with the book sales -- to reassure his supporters that, though he may not draw Sarah Palin style hordes, he's a figure of genuine popular interest.

No Apology: The Case for American Greatness
Amazon.com Sales Rank: #32 in Books
A Patriot’s History of the United States: From Columbus’s Great Discovery to the War on Terror
Amazon.com Sales Rank: #14 in Books
And I’m betting LS didn’t buy a few hundred thousand of his own books.

Plus Romney gave a ton of them to NewsMax to give out...
That would be another 50,000
That 10,000 to his PAC
and he strong armed Deseret Books to buy 940,000
(with the help of the Morg)
There’s the ONE MILLION
:)

He wrote to you: “You have clearly beome cheesed, that makes you even less lucid than normal”
Well, sounds like he was South Park fan, too. Too bad, most SP fans are more lucid.
hehe

Thank you. I had no idea what he meant.
This is one my personal favorites of his posts.
Peter Horry: PS When Romney wins, if he wins, a little self examination
may be in order. You may want to ask yourself if I had spent my time promoting
candidates, who possessed my ideology, could I have garnered more support and had
more of an effect... just a thought.

If Palin is dumb enough to get on a ticket with Romney she deserves to end up in history next to Theodore Frelinghuysen.

Well, SP is a bit rude, so I will try to put a summary of that episode politely.
“Cat whizz causes hallucinations, so Kenny becomes an addict.
The practice is known as “cheesing”. Rather gross how you get the cat whizz. the hallucinations resemble the old movie, “Heavy Metal”. Cats get banned and Cartman hides cats ala Anne Frank. All turns out we in the end, of course.”

There are lots of Romney haters on this site. I could never figure it out for sure but I think I know what it's all about. I don't much like it. We all know what it is. Romney is a very solid conservative but not enough for many here. He knows economics and business perhaps better than any president we've had in recent memory. Yes I know he was part of the Health Care Program in Massachusetts but so what. States are meant to experiment. So this is the place to try out things. It's very different that forcing these things on the entire country. That's something different and I'm totally against it and I think Romney is as well.
The president of the United States cannot do much about abortion except to appoint members to the SCOTUS who he believes to be pro life. But there are no guarantees. These people when they get on the Court can change their opinions. Of the people who are visible now I'd go for Romney. Is he my perfect candidate? No. But I gave up waiting for Mr. Perfect a long time ago. People on this site think they can get Mr. Perfect (or Miss Perfect) or nothing else will do. They are the types who get Obama elected.
People on this site need to understand that the country isn't conservative but middle of the road. Just because we have mostly conservatives here, doesn't mean they are everywhere. I'm in a sea of liberal stupidity where I work so I'm aware of this.
