Yes, it is a symbolic gesture and not binding. But it’s good to see a state stand up for its citizens against a corrupt and evil administration. Bravo!

Is it me, or do you think that the WH is forcing the issue to instigate an insurrection in this country, thereby using martial law against all its opponents?

Every 22 year old single man needs coverage for mammograms. This is a disgrace.

Awesome!

Being from VA, it’s great to be the first that will be in Federal court once the health care destruction legislation passes.

I'm not sure how “symbolic” it really is since once the Governor signs it becomes law of Virginia.
Obama may want to refresh himself on the 10th amendment.

80 to 17?!

Darn! With such a tight vote, Obama and his cronies will still be emboldened to forge ahead with socialized health care.

They'll still be taxed for healthcare though....the Feds get all their power and this socialist fun fest rides on the back of the tax code. How many of the sheople are going to be happy paying for something that they aren't getting? Think SS and the mess it's in YET it's the third rail.

Socialism is insidious.

Thanks dynachrome for the heads up on THIS THREAD that brought me to this one. I wouldn't want to burden anyone by having them read through Timmy Jost's incoherent ramblings. ;^)

You mean it’s illegal for a man or woman who lives in Virginia to be forced into a contract that they do not enter knowingly, willingly, and voluntarily?

Who’d a thunk it.

The health care freedom act just passed to Mo House last week, and it enjoyed bipartisan support, but not as overwhelming as Virginia.

The Senate majority is also Republican. It will be on the ballot as a constitutional amendment in 2010 general election.

Someone needed to fire the first shot. Barry might get it shoved through Congress but, that’s only his first hurdle.
