Disasters - earthquake, Tsunami, others - happening rapidly now.
Read Matthew 24. There will be earthquakes.....etc.
When we see these events occurring in increasing frequency it is because these are the "birth pangs" that we have been told by Jesus Christ Himself - would happen closer together in time as do the birth pangs of a woman in labor. The closer she gets to giving birth, the worse the birth pangs become and the closer together they come.

God didn’t control.....He ‘inspired’...and they took seriously their writings with careful attention...they did not just spew out whatever came to mind any more than we should when speaking and or using Gods word.
Do you dismiss all of it? Or do you pick and choose what you like and dislike in God's Word and go from there in deciding what is factual and true and what should be ignored by fallen man?
And I haven't seen anyone "reading end times" into every natural disaster that happens. People who bring up the fact that we are living in the last hours before Christ's return take seriously all of the signs that He gave us to look for before His return which are happening in conjunction with one another like He said they would.
The foolish ones are those who are told about these things, and, in their flawed, sinful human "logic" and "reason" decide that it's all fairy tales and can be ignored and discarded.
That is what is really foolish- to laugh at and dismiss the warnings Jesus so graciously gave us for our own eternal survival. And you know what the cold part is? You can never say you weren't told.
I agree. The rapture and tribulation leading to it will come in due time and will be rather obvious, we need to run around uncover rocks looking for it.

Well, finally. Since the issue is the trustworthiness of God and His Book, and the fact that Jesus Christ gave man signs of His Second Coming, the beginnings of which some students of Bible prophecy have recognized and posted on this forum, and since the claim has been made by you that none of what Christ said would happen before His return is actually happening but has been taken "out of context", I look forward to the Scripture you will provide which proves that I have, indeed, taken His words "out of context", and that what is going on around us which, coincidentally of course, corresponds to the signs Christ gave us for His return, are simply illusions.

BUT, don't let that get in the way of you understanding that Jesus, the Messiah of Israel is coming soon (within the timespan of the lives of those who are living now and reading this).
And also, remember that all human being are condemned, by the Word of God, and destined for the lake of fire, eternal separation from the God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob, and all that is good.
We all are going to be resurrected, but some resurrected to eternal life with Jesus the Messiah of Israel, and others resurrected to eternal damnation and separtion from God.
You get to pick, now, which one of the two groups you want to be in... :-)

All I can say is that Jesus Christ is alive and active in this world - Just as He has been since He rose from the dead and ascended into Heaven from whence He shall come to judge the quick and the dead...(that’s from the ancient Apostle’s Creed).
Revelation 20
The Thousand Years
1And I saw an angel coming down out of heaven, having the key to the Abyss and holding in his hand a great chain. 2He seized the dragon, that ancient serpent, who is the devil, or Satan, and bound him for a thousand years. 3He threw him into the Abyss, and locked and sealed it over him, to keep him from deceiving the nations anymore until the thousand years were ended. I agree, this earthquake argument is ridiculous, I knew that there would be rapture threads and end times threads as soon as I read about the 8.8 quake in Chile. Remember, Chile has always had earthquakes, in fact Chile had the strongest earthquake ever recorded in human history(9.5). I will repost what I said earlier, that you can’t say with reason this is a sign of Christ’s return. I believe a sign of His return would be an earthquake in a MAJOR American or European city, 9.0+ destroying a metropolis, small asteroids hitting earth daily, multiple comets in the solar system, strange sun / moon activity. etc. etc. The signs that we will see even “PRE-TRIBULATION” will be unlike events any human has EVER witnessed. An 8.8 earthquake in Chile a month after a 7.5 in Haiti doesn’t cut it to me as “BIRTH PANGS”. These regions have always had earthquakes.
It’s amazing how many times this has played out over the centuries. The Millerites went up to the mounain the mountain several times without seeing this fulfilled.

You might want to do a study, and see how many people in the last 2,000 years have been certain the end of days were upon the earth in their time.
They have all been wrong so far. But they were certain at the time they were right.
People that take end times issues out of context, are similar to those who try to take a warm summer, and convince us that we have climate change.
I'm amazed how the Bible can be so mis interpreted by so many people. Or how pieces can be looked at out of context.
I would also like to see the hard data showing that we are having more earthquakes than in the past.
