A massive earthquake of 8.5 magnitude has struck close to
the city of Concepcion in Chile. The United States Geological Survey said the earthquake struck at 0634 GMT on Saturday at a depth of 55km (34.2 miles). Concepcion is the second largest city in the country, about 450km south of Santiago. The US government said a tsunami warning has been issued for Chile, Peru and Ecuador.

Thank the Lord it was shaking, not collapsing buildings.
I ponder the effect on Nino/Nina.
Prayers up.
