Televised Meeting to talk about healthcare..........
INTERCEPTED - the Hail Mary pass was caught on the 2 yard line and run back for a score. PAT successful.
I can rewind the DVR to get it,but I don’t know how to capture it.
“Whoops, I meant to say that many people were calling in to CSPAN on the Republican Line and saying they were going to switch to Dem.”
Gee, do you think they may have been coordinated calls?
OH. You’re right! Our side have all had a chance to speak according to Mitch, too.
It’s the time ratio that’s been completely lop-sided.
“I think this was an act of desperation.”
I agree
I don’t know if I can watch MSM coverage of this but I can guess they will be kissing odumbo’s ass
0bama does not have the temperment to be president.
He is waaaaayy too thin-skinned.
He is also the most dangerous man to ever be elected ecause of his temperment.
This Oregon Senator Wyden us a LIB to the max! He’s lucky he lives in a liberal state because he doesn’t have a clue what the rest of the country is saying. He doesn’t want “incrimental” health care change . . . He wants FULL BLOWN COMPREHENSIVE CHANGE now! What a stooge!
New Dem Party tool aims at flooding talkradio airwaves...
The Democratic National Committee’s Organizing for America has quietly launched an initiative aimed at making Obama supporters’ voices heard on the largely conservative airwaves.
“The fate of health reform has been a focus of debate in living rooms and offices, on TV and online — and on talk radio. And since millions of folks turn to talk radio as a trusted source of news and opinions, we need to make sure OFA supporters are calling in with a pro-reform message,” says the introduction to the online tool.
The online tool presents users with a radio show discussing political topics, to which supporters can listen live, and the phone number for that station, for when health care comes up. It also offers tips for callers and talking points on the issue.

TechPresident’s Nancy Scola writes that the program is a product of a new push inside the organization to develop new software tools to give supporters “achievable, tangible tasks to do that fit into the nooks and crannies of their day to day lives.”
Some of us DID evolve from rodents.
And his political philosophy.
The Speaker and the White House find themselves in this position because of Senator DeMint (R-SC). He insisted that Senator McConnell object to the appointment of the House-Senate Conferees, thus preventing a Conference on the bill.
The Speaker could fix the Senate bill on the House floor by amendment, then pass the Senate bill amended and fixed, but then it would have to go back to the Senate, where it would have to get 60 yes votes, or die. Since it will not get 60 votes ever again in the Senate, it will die if the Speaker tries the amend the Senate bill on the House floor and send it back to the Senate route.
When Senator DeMint (R-SC) denied the Speaker the ability to fix the bill in Conference, he put the Speaker and the White House in their current box. If there had been a House-Senate Conference, then the House could have fixed the bill without a floor vote and the bill could have changed, without having to send it back to the Senate to face 60 vote margins.
Thank God for Sen. Jim DeMint.
MEMO TO OBAMA: ALL THOSE POLLS DO NOT ADDRESS THE COSTS!!!!
Ryan DOES know what he's talking about. I think his degree is in economics.
Yup, I betcha!
Excuse me but Republicans have been fact checking what Democrats have had to say from the time that George W. Bush took office.
The House Republican Conference has been fact checking during this entire day and have sent out emails and posted Twitter.
Either they are ready to slam this thing thru and are using this meeting as theatric cover (”we talked to them, and the GOP was just unreasonable”), or there is no hope of passage and they somehow thought this conversation might go somewhere useful to their goals.
Figuring that these are skilled political operatives in the best Chicago traditions, I’m betting on the former. This is too high a profile event and too likely to fail miserably (to them) for them to take it on as an uncontrolled risk.
The most powerful man in the world does not hold public meetings unless the outcome is assured.
Obama says the American people are....stooopid
Obama dissing those who disagree with this p.o.s.
Saying people agree with ALL of the components of the bill, but blows off polls saying start over.
TALK ABOUT ABORTION, YOU COWARD.
There is no ‘overlap’. BURN THE BILL. START OVER FROM SCRATCH WITH A ROCK SOLID FOUNDATION.
