Israel receives military and financial assistance, and also some diplomatic support at the United Nations, but the US puts pressure on Israel to surrender parts of the homeland... It seems to me a Ron Paul presidency would be good for Israel and for the United States. Its foreign policy non-interventionism and its concern to protect national sovereignty would provide Israel with a greater impetus to increase its own independence and sense of national honor. I hope American Zionists will resist the immediate, meretricious attractions of American financial assistance for Israel. Ron Paul would both end this infantilizing, and even corrupting, aid and respect Israel's national sovereignty. Taking the long and deep view, Ron Paul should be the Zionist choice."

You did not watch the video. He never said it. I posted a transcript if you care to look.
OK, so he came on excessively strong. I can see why you guys are so angry. Christian_Capitalist needs some lessons in some FR etiquette but I hope he does not get banned.
And I'll serve it to you. Freegards.
FWIW, I do not “hate” Ron Paul or his family and that includes his son, Rand. Christian_Capitalist conceded my point that Ron Paul and the JBS are closely linked as are the JBS and Alex Jones. Tah-Dah.
That said, attempts to link Sarah Palin to the JBS, Ron Paul, Alex Jones and the entire ugly lot of their truther beliefs is unconscionable! Sarah is not responsible for Ron Paul’s endorsements of her, (whatever they were and are) and she certainly doesn’t share his isolationist views or his anti-Israel views. Sarah is a staunch supporter of our military and of Israel. Christian_Capitalist’s posts are offensive and ugly and meant to mislead.
Christian_Capitalist is promoting Ron Paul by using Sarah Palin and that’s my complaint. Rand Paul is a wholly separate issue.
It's a valid complaint. Christian_Capitalist should promote truths and ideas and not people and personalities.
Israel's worse enemy is also the worse enemy of the United States, namely God Almighty Himself. Both nations have been blessed and protected beyond all description and yet we harbor many sins that God finds abominable like child sacrifice (abortion). When God decides to punish us, there will nothing we can do for each other or ourselves. On the other hand, while God decides to protect us we are invulnerable and therefore we don't need to pump money into either Israel's or our own socialist governments. We have enough military power to destroy most of life on earth. It's safe to say that our danger lies within.
It does not matter if Ron Paul agrees with it or not. I agree with Christian_Capitalist, we should stop all foreign aid to any government anywhere. Speaking contingently, if Abraham had not rescued Sodom, perhaps they would have repented of their sins as slaves and not been subsequently annihilated. Does anyone disagree and if so why?
Romans 8:31
What shall we then say to these things? If God be for us, who can be against us?
There are no straight answers or comments to points being made.
The PaulBOts can only comment in circles. their
ability to not think for themselves, is the main benefit
to being part of the Ron Paul Cult.
Your posting of biblical passages on almost all your posts
are disingenuous and another form of not facing this issue.
With all due respect to you, Theophilus, I make it my rule to avoid engagement in religious discussions.
How does fighting thousands of people in Iraq stop dozens of people from other Middle eastern countries from launcing terrorist attacks against the United States?
Answer: it doesn’t.
Ron Paul is right.
And it isn’t conservative to spend hundreds of billions of taxpayer dollars on bombing then rebuilding some desert nation.
Nope, I'm sorry he did not say "Iran wants nukes because they feel threatened." you are "doing the math" and inferring that. Saying "Iran wants nukes because they feel threatened by us." would be really stupid because Iran wants nukes for a million reasons and would want them even if the United States did not exist. Everybody knows that. What is debatable is whether we "have to understand their perspective, that they feel threatened."
I think we should know our enemies and we should try to understand them so that we can defeat them, or at least avoid being defeated. Since, and as Rand stated, it is inconceivable that Iran could ever defeat us we should understand them to avoid undesirable costs. We can always kick their butt but we may get poop on our boots. So, for once lets let nature take it's course. We should not appease them but we should not fix them either. It's a false dilemma.
I wish the Paul's could make the argument without sounding like limp wristed muddle headed pacifists which in my opinion they often do. But look at what the wars have cost us politically. The progressives are all but totally in power and we are getting the economic life sucked out of us!
From the video:
2:55 We don't want to say but I think the guy is a loose cannon. their President, but we have to understand their perspective, that they feel threatened.
Ahh. A let he who is without sin parable...The only reason why Abraham begged God to spare Sodom was to save the life of his righteous nephew Lot. I guess God didn't find enough Righteous people to Spare it after his Angels recued Lot and his family. I am not going to question God on this one. That would be foolish.
Of course there is the Judgment that led to the great Flood of Noah...Again God made that calls.
As for Pharaoh's Army, you make that call...
If you subscribe to the Orthodox teachings then you must understand that all sins will evidently be forgiven.
I think he like pictures of Kitties.
We respect to you, I can't avoid it so I will desist my posts to you in general, unless you change your mind at some point. God bless you!
(The guy really has a way with words, doesn't he? When are you going to realize that he, along with several other recent "Paul-bots" are only here to agitate?)
I don't even speak to my enemies in this manner, much less my conservative patriot FRiends!
American conservatives are the last folks on earth to be telling - "you'll Obey as you're told".
C_C is either nuttier than squirrel droppings, or he's an agitator, (could be both though), and this is proven by his comments.

Probably.
Yes I did watch the video.
How do you think I came across the two minute fifty five second mrk approximate?
You are a liar.
No, you got served, and you aren’t man enough to admit it.
Yes he did say it, why don’t you watch it again.
Or do you like being a Baghdad Bob style liar?
Considering that most of the posts to me were just insults and posts of the "get off the forum" variety, I figured that I could respond in kind. Turnabout is fair play, and all...
There didn't seem to be much actual argument against the thesis advocated by the Israeli Zionist who wrote the article -- that Israel would be better off, better able to act in her own defense, if not constrained by the demands of US Foreign Aid.
