Yep...sounds a little too close for comfort. I had to go up the hill this AM and it was raining so hard the windshield wipers couldn’t keep up. SCARY to be sure.
:)
I’m outta here for tonight. Hope to see everyone tomorrow.
*HUGS* around!! Thank you so much for tonights thread, fatima. Looks like it’s a favorite for a lot of freepers :)
At one point, he was the Natinal Program Director of Clear Channel, which meant that -- technically -- he was Rush Limbaugh's boss. Of course, Jay was nowhere near the conference room when Rush's syndicator sat down to negotiate nine figure contracts with Clear Channel's upper management.
Jay was in Seattle for the National Association of Broadcasters convention, and we went out for lunch. We reminisced about the days when Joey Reynolds was working in Philadelphia, and Jay simply picked up his cell phone, called Joey and put me on the line to him. I was certainly impressed.
Jay is a consultant working out of Boca Raton these days and is doing well. He is probably still in touch with the original members of the Four Seasons.
Oh my goodness...sounds like a good idea to preposition the “helper/fixers” so help is close at hand. Stay warm and safe!!
Thanks Publius.
