The embattled representative from the state of Florida, Alan Grayson found himself on the verge of being caught in a coup in Niger earlier this week.
According to a Grayson's press secretary, Todd Jurkowski, "He heard the gunshots. They were literally in the building next door." Grayson was serving as part of a congressional delegation that was focused on science, technology and humanitarian relief. When the fighting and gun fire broke out Grayson was taken to the home of the United States Ambassador to Niger where he stayed with armored protection.
As of Thursday night it was announced that the constitution of Niger had been suspended. Grayson subsequently traveled to the neighboring country of Burkina Faso and was scheduled to return to the United States on Friday. |
East Central Florida is going to die!
AMEN BROTHER!
This guy unfortunately presents my district and I can tell you, he is a totally clueless, corrupt lying coward.
I not only do not believe this story for a second but I actually busted out laughing upon hearing it.
He is totally and notoriously into publicity just to gain name recognition, how truly pathetic.
I believe you're right. I believe they are in for a rude awakening.
We are a BIG country - and a country of people who have never known anything but freedom - AND, they never got our guns, first requisite to take over.
Hopefully, it won't come to full out violence to stop this slimy bunch of traitors. But I do believe the American people will stop them.
WE may come out on the other side of this a stronger nation as people are waking up and realizing that what we have CAN be lost when we get lazy and inattentive.

Yeah, ‘cause when I think of science and technology, I think of Niger.
These Congressional ‘Fact-Finding’ tours need to stop. So do the every Wednesday night special concerts in the White House. WE ARE IN A RECESSION, OBAMA! START LEADING!
“...AND, they never got our guns, first requisite to take over.”
Maybe, although with 2 million now in the employ of big brother and 39 government employment positions instead of 11 (as was true 20 years ago) are now duly authorized to carry side arms (which all happened “under the radar”), given the right scenario, we, even when acting collectively, may not be able to effectively “resist” the “powers that be.”
The stats regarding number of government employment positions in which employees carry firearms stem from comments made in 2009 by former FBI Head in LA, Ted Gunderson.
There's nothing more ironic than a Lib talking about how brave they are under fire, and somehow expect to be rewarded for their own stupidity that got them in that predicament in the first place. Hell, I wouldn't be surprised if Grayson might put himself in for a medal for his "bravery" under fire ...

Alan Grayson spent SIX FIGURES of YOUR MONEY on his trip.
You have a nice time job hunting. :)
It doesn't bother me so much that he went to Niger. What bothers me is that he came back.
Nothing they do suprises me any more. It doesn’t matter if it happened years ago or yesterday-just what planet do these idiots come from?
There was a young lady from Niger
Who smiled as she rode on a tiger.
They returned from the ride
With the lady inside,
And a smile on the face of the tiger.
Obama is working on his announcement, and it will be delivered soon.
Oh well. Close but no cigar. So the coward grayson ran away?
I wonder if they timed this attack to take Grayson hostage.
