Ping ‘em!
“In 2000, McCain became a spokesman for a gun control organization (now defunct) called Americans for Gun Safety, a group that advocated licensing and registering all gun owners. The group ran radio and TV ads with McCain supporting ballot initiatives in Colorado and Oregon that would impose McCains favorite restrictions on gun shows.”

The only reason McCain won the GOP ticket was because of Rats crossing over and voting for him. The only good decision I can remember him ever making was selecting Palin.

I registered as a Democrat in AZ just so I could vote for the weaker candidate in the primaries. That’s gonna change as I want Mscain OUT.
It is my understanding that if you registered as an Independent, you couldn’t vote in the primaries, but I hear that has changed, so I might go Indy just to tweak the Pubbies.
On a separate note, one thing that impressed me with GOA - something that the NRA never did - and that was to send me a postcard urging me to vote for a local judge who had a good gun-rights record. Those are also the guys to support, but info is sometimes scarce.

This is a good endorsement for J.D. It's hard to imagine, but we may really have a shot at getting rid of McCain this year. I've made a few donations to Hayworth, and will make another one this weekend.

Plus, can anyone here even imagine how bad McCain will be during his last 7 years as a Senator - all the issues that he’s soft on will result in reconcilement with the liberals, big time - no re-election to hold him back.
He’s got to go AZ!

Good for GOA. I knew there was a reason I liked these guys...

If McCain gets reelected to another six years, watch him snuggle up to Obma and once again be the darling "maverick Republican" of the press.
His tack (nautical term) to the right has been in anticipation of this election.
He will betray America once again if given the chance.
