White House to kick communications into overdrive to spread message in 2010 By Eric Zimmermann - 02/15/10 09:49 AM ET
The White House is gearing up its communications team to be sharper more aggressive in 2010, the Washington Post reports.
The new strategy is already evident: Biden's dual appearances on Sunday morning shows this weekend, as well as Obama's proposal for a televised healthcare summit later this month, are both part of a White House effort to gain control of the media narrative.
According to the Post, the new effort will have four planks.
First, "return to the disciplined messaging that was a hallmark of the 2008 campaign, in which unhelpful themes were filtered out in favor of topics that advanced the candidate's goals."
Second, "quicker, more aggressive response to GOP attacks on the president and his policies."
Third is advance work: "The image of Obama standing in the Diplomatic Room surrounded by men in dark suits will be replaced, as often as possible, by scenes of a more relaxed president in crowds."
Fourth, the White House will seeks to once again seize the theme of "change."
In general, the White House thinks it has let Congress control the message too often.
I’m wondering how many medals he’s going to win over the next couple of weeks ...
“Spreading the meessage just like a telemarketer who calls you during dinner time.”
And the endless infomercials for stain removers on television at all hours of day and night.
Translation: LIE...Louder, Harder, Faster....
The socialists keep telling themselves that the problem is the packaging, not the message. If they can just make us understand how we’re better off without freedom, then we’ll embrace the Emperor Obama and Queen Pelosi. I hope they stay stupid.
Hey! I have an idea. Why doesn’t Obama set up a Greek Temple on the White House lawn?
Then he get get up there with his TOTUS-flanked pedestal and speak to us ALL DAY LONG, 7 days a week! On all channels!
If his voice gets tired, he can bring in a couple of rock bands every day to entertain the viewers while he practices his golf on the lawn in front of the Temple. Then when he’s recovered, he can speak again. Hey, if Castro and Chavez can speak for several hours at a time, I’m sure The One can do it!
How’s that for communication?
LOL!....He’ll have to split them with Kim Jong-Il.................
His approval ratings will make G.W.Bush’s look like George Washington’s...............
“First, ‘return to the disciplined messaging that was a hallmark of the 2008 campaign . . . “

Hey, we get the message. That’s the problem.
When will the Obama brown-shirts arrive to crack heads?
Spread the message. Far and wide.
Just as your administration and this Congress have done for the past 15 months, keep pushing your agenda.
And guarantee a tremendous upset this November!
Good Grief! We see Obama giving a speech nearly every day - sometimes twice a day.
These folks don’t have a clue!
These scum think the only problem they have is that they DID NOT LIE BIG ENOUGH OR SUCCESSFULLY ENOUGH TO FOOL THE PEOPLE!
These guys are far from reality...but one should not underestimate the ability of commies to lure the stupid.
Yeah, get Biden out there more, that’s it! LOL
Obama lectures 24-7 the last year wasn’t enough either.
Gotta squeeze more hours into the day!
More Oprah apperances.
The MSM isn’t enough cheerleading for him either.
Maybe the muppets are available too?
Obama on TV more. That’s the ticket. Bump prime time shows all over the place. Great idea. Maybe he could schedule several TV events during March Madness and the Final Four?
I at first thought like the low brief showing gangsta stlye, then realized you meant clinton style.
Maybe they should put a propaganda minister in every home so that we never miss the Obama message.
Shut up already!
