It’s a very simple theory.
When the American people have their back to the wall and can’t use fair elections to express their wishes, what do you think they will do? Will they sit and accept an 0banana Republic status or will they fight for their beloved country and revolt?
A civil war is a disaster. It never ends as quickly as it starts.
Bayh saying he liked an executive job was tantamount to an announcement that he is running for President in 2012. The person who must be really mad is Hillary because she has been preempted.
Unless he has some John Edwards baggage, Bayh will be a candidate in 2012.

Oh, you betcha he’d be a force! But until a high profile candidate (like Larry Kudlow) throws his/her hat into the ring, this one’s a cakewalk for the Schmuckster.

Actually it helps Hillary, she can legitimately throw her hat in once the stalking horse (Bayh) has opened a primary against Bambi.
Now wouldn’t that be the icing on the cake?
If the state Republican committee has half a brain, it has mobilized teams to get this done for her. The article says she still needs about a thousand. That’s just 100 people getting 10 each. Doable.
Knowing the D’s are working against her and have a huge stake in her not coming up with the signatures, she’d better have a very secure plan for seeing that nothing happens to those signatures before they’re filed tomorrow.
That would be great. I’d love to see Bayh and Obama destroy each other.
Geesh, he wouldn't be running for #2 this time, plus he's about $984 million short of a serious run against Bobo.
I enjoyed Kudlow's Meet The Depressed appearance, but his 'suggestions' confirm he's another monist and a statist ("Skrewel boards are running out of money! Oh noes!"); so yea if I gotta have $oros in drag, I'd rather have Giuiliette.
What we need is a conservative, and I will be less than enthoused if our nominee is not, and I think there are whole lot thinking like me!
