Friend in St. Louis reminded me that Obama came back from Camp David early. I bet this is why, and it reinforces the idea that this is payback.
I don’t know if anyone could get signatures by tomorrow, unless they already have a sheaf of them on file. And Baron Hill would have to have people tromping through the 10 inches of snow southern Indiana is getting.

Why?
1. He was a Hillary supporter and would have been her VP candidate. Obama stole Indiana in the primaries with thugs and ruthless tactics.
2. Obama put him very publicly on the short list for VP, then jerked him around (and no doubt got dirt on him through vetting) and then chose Biden. How humiliating.
3. Bayh is not an extreme leftist, and working with such has to have contributed to this, but I think it’s a very personal shafting of Obama and Reid.

Not unlike him to pull a Lieberman, and then caucus with the democrats, but that would stink, given today’s announcement.
I tend to believe that these people are frightened and want to be out of sight when the People come. They know that those who do not belong to our Anglo American society have elevated into positions of power and authority. These people now in office are botched and bungle by their very ineptitude.

I agree. This is the only thing, other than just wanting personally stick it to Obama, that makes any sense.

Well, I suppose we could worry about a coming fiscal collapse or a terrorist invasion.
I do think, however, that with Bayh you are seeing someone who has had enough of Obama and decided to do what he could.
Bayh isn’t a bad guy, just a weak one and in the wrong party. A centrist coalition might be something he decides to lead.

OTOH Todd Ricotta has done a lot to make voter fraud and other shenanigans difficult in the “rat” districts...New laws and all.
