Steele suggests critics are racially motivated (Barf-o-rama alert)

Critics of Michael Steele's tenure as RNC chairman are motivated by racism, Steele suggested in an interview published today.

Speaking to the Washingtonian Magazine (no online version), Steele wondered why his DNC counterpart doesn't get the same criticism he does.

"I don’t see stories about the internal operations of the DNC that I see about this operation," Steele said. "Why? Is it because Michael Steele is the chairman, or is it because a black man is chairman?”

The RNC has experienced significant staff turnover since Steele became chairman, especially in the communcations shop. That has prompted speculation about Steele's management style.

Steele's comment about racism, however, will only further anger his Republican critics, who have lamented his repeated gaffes.

Hey Steele, stick that racism crap up your ass, pretend it is a pogo stick, and hop your ignorant ass back to Maryland.

Leftists play the race card whenever they don’t get their own way. Steele is playing the race card because conservatives don’t want a RINO sell-out heading the party. Surely just a coincidence.

I don’t think he’s that stupid doing this.

We all know why he’s getting all this criticism. He’s taking it to the Dems. The only answer to, Gee, is it because I’m black, is,

“Of course it’s not because you are black, It’s because you are a black REPUBLICAN!”

He says it without saying it. I think it’s brilliant.

“I don’t see stories about the internal operations of the DNC that I see about this operation,” Steele said. “Why? Is it because Michael Steele is the chairman, or is it because a black man is chairman?”

1. Most “stories” come from the MSM, which doesn’t want to publicize intra-Democrat problems.

2. Democrats are in power (for the time being). So long as that’s so, they’re automatically doing the right thing. Thgat’s the way, fair or unfair, it works. Once they lose the mid-term elections or the 2012 presidential election (God willing), believe me, there’ll be “stories”.

For the time being, despite Massachusetts and such, Republicans are still losers. Just like Peyton Manning is a loser because he happened to have had a lackluster game on the wrong day. There will be (and have been) stories faulting Manning, the coaching staff, and so on. It’s unfair, but big surprise. Deal with it. It’s the price of leadership.

“He says it without saying it. I think it’s brilliant.”

You sound like a conspiracy theorist, but even if you’re right, it’s still the race card. Just our version of it. It’s bad tactics, since the MSM, Democrats, and most of all black people don’t care about discrimination against black conservatives.

So at best Steele is a bad tactician, and at worst he’s a whiny baby. Probably he’s both.

Didn't he fire a bunch of people when he took office? That always provides a healthy sized bunch of disgruntled critics. Not that he doesn't deserve some criticism for the way he has done his job.

That is a great point. How does this guy help his party by criticizing them publicly and implying they are racists? What does that say to any Blacks who just might be considering a republican antidote to the Obama socialist poison?

The very overt act of playing the race card against his own party answers the question of his competence. Looks like more stumbling in store for the Stupid Party.

“This is sabotage. Steele is an agent of the enemy.”

He always has been. Lil’ Mikey Tinsel needs to be removed.

Steele blew it. That’s going to hurt him. Race card on his own party? I pity the man. He’s the king with no clothes now. Not even Hannity is going to back him on that fight.

Doesn’t Steele remember when the rats were throwing oreo cookies at him? We supported him. But we should never have trusted Steele with RNC chairmanship. He is stabbing Conservatives in the back now — why? Out of SELFISHNESS.

Steele has to go.

Agreed. Plus, just when the tea partiers think it’s safe to go back to the GOP, Steele shoots off again.

I predict — the Hanman is going to invite Steele for a talk on the air. Steele will be tempted to duck it, but how can he? Hannity has been watching his back all this time. It’s going to be lose-lose for Steele. He blew it.

O’ crap, not this accusation! I hate it when a black man hides behind the color of their skin.

*****************************************

I sort of enjoy it. It actually translates to:

“I am guilty as charged, and cannot raise a solitary, objective defense on my own behalf. I fail as an individual.”

Another reason for Steele to go.
