Breaking...
this was without a doubt, the BEST news I heard all day. may murtha rot in hell with TEDDEADKENNEDY for an eternity.
Glad to have one less “EX” Marine in this world.
God bless you sir.
I’ll say what I always say when an Enemy of the Republic dies:
Condolences to his family.
SO, JACK, WHAT DO YOU THINK ABOUT JOHN MURTHA CASHING IN HIS CHIPS? ...

I join in prayer for Murtha’s loved ones as they deal with his homegoing.
Since I’m just now reading this thread (although I received word of Murtha’s death earlier), I may have missed the posting of the reason for Murtha’s post-op death. According to Fox News (and others) a doctor involved with the operation for his gall bladder surgery accidently sliced open Murtha’s intestine. Murtha died from an infection resulting from that mistake. Ooops.
No. It is the Hand of God, answering the prayers of America’s people for salvation from liberalism.
Thanks for Ping BufordP.
Not trying to be controversial or mean spirited but I guess I am wondering about the need I observe for PC? Yes perspective is important. A man has died. I appreciate his service in the military to our country. Not much more. God will be his judge for eternal things but we can be his judge for things we have observed & wrongs we note. I think it is silly to compare our feelings & expressions here with the pure crap we see on lib sites. We base our opinions on facts, history & truth. NOT lies, coverups & emotion.
I was proudly at the boot Murtha rally a few years ago. The election again gave him boldness & protection in his position. We now can work to elect a conservative in the special election
He lived a long full life - I do know family & friends are mourning a man they loved & I pray for peace & comfort for them. Love is love .
We acknowledge many things here on FR & we often spar on many things. I believe in our hearts most here are in agreement on this person. I dont feel like being a hypocrite on this issue anymore than I do on my beliefs on other matters
I dont like to see anyone die or suffer, even people I dislike. But when they are gone, I will not offer untrue accolades
Okay. Finis
I missed it by *that* much!
“Was it accidental?”
No... He got an advanced case of Obamacare... The Death panel convened and decided he was no longer “useful” to society... Justice has been served forthright.
“...They usually go in threes.”
Let’s hope it’s three HUNDRED of the bastards!
Ditto
He was an Iraq War critic but also did a job for the military. Good and bad, but RIP.
Absolutely. I think he has some “splainin” to do.
Understand your sentiments.
I didn’t like him either, but your last comment wasn’t necessary.
No need to sink to the low level of the average Daily Kos poster.
This is the FreeRepublic.. and our standards should be higher than that of those lowlifes.
Murtha is now explaining hiself to the great Gunny in the Sky. It won’t be pretty.
Yours is the best eulogy posted, by far.
To: P-Marlowe
I just spotted an AP story on Murthas passing on one of the local TV stations web site......
The headline reads........
Rep. John Murtha, voice for veterans, dies at 77
Huh??
What did you expect?
It’s the AP!
All liberal spin..all the time.
